I purchased the RO-CTOP w/ UV light several years ago. It was an excellent choice for building brewing water chemistry. Living rural, my water pressure fluctuates, so my flow rate is less than the specs say, and you have to factor in the pre-filter health. No problem it is just part of the prep work. 400 gallons/year. I get 2 years out of the pre-filters. After 5 years I am finally replacing the RO filter. Convenient, highly portable, well-designed, and simplicity of operation, that gives me the water to produce quality home brew. I love it!

I bought this system about a year ago. It works very well for a small over the counter space. The only one of its kind since RO systems are usually for under the sink or for the whole house. The difference in the quality of water with the filter and without is quite noticeable, and I thought we had "great water" before I purchased the APEC water system. Not having it for a few days during transition time has shown me how vital this is in our daily lives. I will install one at my place of work so that everyone can experience this. As well, we fill our water bottles daily, as we refuse to purchase bottled water. All good for the body and the planet. I highly recommend this water filter system!

In 2014 I purchased my first Apec water filter system and have been a loyal customer since then. Each year, I'll replace the filters and once tried interchanging my osmosis filter to an alkaline filter. My water tastes delicious and I can tell the difference compared to other places. I use my filter water for everything, from washing fruits/veggies, cooking pasta, and drinking hot tea/coffee. I also feel safe knowing a small investment goes a long way with protecting my kids from forever chemical in our water system.

I have used the APEC RO Countertop water filtration system for several years now. I had heavy metal poisoning (lead & uranium) from my drinking water, so I did a lot of research to find the best filter. This is one of the few products on the market that removes heavy metals. I used the enclosed hand held meter to measure particulates: before using the filters it was over 300. After installing the filters, the measure has consistently been 2 or below over all the years of use. Also, these filters are made in the USA, so they last considerably longer and won't fall apart like the cheaper ones, which presumably are made in China. This item does what it is supposed to do....so glad for it, as we rent a house that is sadly surrounded by sprayed crop fields, so we needed something to purify our tap water. Only problem we have had is unable to remove to replace the extra little hose the water drips out of to fill your container- cannot get it to budge no matter what!

Been using system to provide cooking & potable water to the coach while it is parked in city water that has heavy minerals & sulpher. The filter change was required & appreciated by us. Washing/flushing with municipal water is fine.
