APEC Spot Free Water Deionization Car Wash System CWS-300

Bought this not really knowing how well it would work...............with supplied ppm tester, my water was 305ppm..........through the filter............ .15ppm...........Yes it work Perfect for my needs.........nothing better than Spot Free Car Wash, especially if you show your ride.......when it arrived, the packaging was probably the Best I have ever seen.........!!!

I started washing my cars again at home and the CWS-300 works great ! My water directly out of the hose bib reads 575 ppm. After running it through the CWS-300 it reads 0 ppm ! Perfect for a spot-free rinse ! I would absolutely recommend this product ! It makes drying the car effortless and leaves no residue. The only thing I can think of to make this product better would be if you installed petcocks at the bottom of the canisters so they could be easily drained if the unit is going to sit for a while.

I recommend this filter for car washing. We also use it for a spot free rents on our airstream. This system comes with an electronic TDS meter so you can test the water. For me my water started out at 360 ppm and after the filter, it was 5 ppm.

I purchased this a couple months ago. Was easy to get this unit up and running. I used the included water tester to test our well water, in-house water, and the output from the APEC which is on the well water. The water quality was OUTSTANDING. I run a hobby business detailing classic cars. This water filter system hasn't let me down.

This could easily be a 5 star review except for the stand , the stand is a 1, the unit 5 the rating is a 3

I purchased this to use for my rinse cycle of my car wash and was excited to see how it works. The result of the item is amazing, it gives a perfect spot free rinse, however, the containers are leaking and it destroyed the DI Filters within the first use. My water averages about 100-150 ppm and due to the leaking and fault filters, I managed to get 1 car wash before going from 0 ppm test to 20-60ppm. on my third wash (of only rinsing) I have lost 75% of the filtration qualities, which makes it pointless to even use. I am not sure if these filters were faulty, the leak caused exessive erosion of the filters, or the filters are just that bad.

For the high price it's not worth it. The APEC filters that come with this unit are excellent. The physical unit is no different than the cheaper Chinese units. The metal frame was full of rust on the inside. . The bolts had damaged or improperly threaded treads. The pre threaded frame components had almost no threads in them. I had use my own nuts and bolts to assemble frame. Once assembled the unit is flimsy,top heavy and unstable. I suspect a cheaper VEVOR or similar junk would be of the same poor quality minus the filters.
