Had exactly what I needed, priced very competitively vs. other options, faster delivery too! Quality appears to be consistent w/ original manufacturer's.
Customer support told me APEC water storage tank was designed to maintain consistent pressure for about 5 years, mine did so for 12 years. That's how good APEC products are. I've been using them for over 12 years. If an issue comes up, the company is willing to fix it. I just love it.
I have an 8 year old RO system and lately I noticed that we weren't getting much water dispensed. I researched and found that it could be a problem with my tank. I purchased this new tank, replaced my old one, and I am getting plenty of water again just like the 1st day I installed it.
DIY installation of APEC under sink water system had been excellent for years, but family complaining about serious drop off of capacity/pressure. Tried restoring bladder pressure using You Tube instructions, but no help. Clearly tank bladder failure. New APEC tank- boom, system like new! Happy household.
Excellent product and fast delivery.
The first 4 gallon tank that I purchased with my under sink water system from Apex has lasted a decade. I noticed that it was losing pressure so I used my air compressor to add some air and so far it is still holding up, but I purchased a second tank so it would be ready to go when my first tank finally gives up the ghost.
The new tank solve my problem. I think the bladder had a hole in It was leaking air into pthe water chamber. Could only get about 8 ounces out at a time bought a new tank and it solve my problem. Their shipping is fast. It only took two days. Excellent customer service.
My purchase was for a 4 gallon residential RO water storage tank. It was easy to install, and works like a charm, especially keeping us with ice (we use a lot) and water from our refrigerator. Great support team, the rep knew his stuff and save me a lot of time and effort. Thanks APEC!!
I've had my APEC R/O system for well over a decade now. The first storage tank worked well for years then developed a hole in the rubber bladder; this is inevitable The first replacement tank worked OK but never produced the same volume as the first one. This new one, however, can put out about 2 gallons of filtered water at a pretty fast rate for 1/4" tubing. I was really surprised and thrilled after installing it. I'm not sure what they've done to improve the internal rubber bladder but it works really, really well. Highly recommended!
This will be the third tank we've had. Unfortunately, over time the internal bladder constricts as it empties and will not fully reinflate. The problem worsens until the flow its so limited you have to make a change. To illustrate, when first installed I could fill my 2.5 gallon "bottle" in just about 7 minutes straight through. At the end, it was taking four 4-minute sessions each about an hour apart. This could use a design improvement of some sort.
