This is definitely a good item if you are looking for kettlebell swing. The structure weights 20 Lbs %26 the max you can load is 50 Lbs. This is how I load from 20 Lbs all the way to 50 Lbs 20 Lbs - Assembly 4 x Plastic filler plates (0 Lbs each) = 20 Lbs 25 Lbs - Assembly 2 x Plastic filler plates 2 x 2.5 lbs weight plates = 25 Lbs 30 Lbs - Assembly 4 x 2.5 lbs weight plates = 30 Lbs 35 Lbs - Assembly 2 x 2.5 lbs weight plates 2 x 5 lbs weight plates = 35 Lbs 40 Lbs - Assembly 4 x 5 lbs weight plates = 40 Lbs 45 Lbs - Assembly 2 x 10 lbs weight plates 2 x 2.5 lbs weight plates = 45 Lbs 50 Lbs - Assembly 3 x 10 lbs weight plates Overall very very useful. The only drawback is it cannot be easily used to clean or rack type of workouts as its shape will not be rounded. For all type of swinging %26 hinging workouts, this is a unicorn.
New to swinging bells so Im no seasoned vet but the handle is nice and wide with a smooth finish. My hands do not feel on any finish ridges while swinging it around. Has a 30lb limit plate limit for a 50lb bell which will be pleanty for me. Heavy weights are not my desire anymore. If you are inclined to and feel lucky, you probably could put heavier plates on there for a 60lb or more bell. Obvously not whats recomended. Happy with it so far.
My husband was truly impressed with this kettlebell, it's like one of the best purchases he's ever made. The item itself is 20lbs which is good for starters like myself and we have our own weights, so it's very sturdy and easy to use. So far we've added on 10lbs extra and it seems to be working fine.
Great workout weight.
Amazing that it's adjustable.
Met all my expectations and great price point!
Love the shape and design. Especially how wide the handle is. Some kettlebells have narrow handles making it hard to get a good grip. Downside is the company doesn't sell weighted discs to put in place of the faux inserts. Your on your own finding 2.5 or 5 pound inserts
Anyone know where to find good inserts for this to make it 50 lbs?
