Dip and match the colors
Easy to use. Swirl the stick in the water for several seconds and take out, wait specified time for each test, and compare the colors on the stick to the chart on the container. Match the colors and determine what your water is lacking or has too much of. There are five different types of readings for five different categories.

Buy now/Need later.
I assume these will be fine. Haven't used them yet, but I bought them to have them when I need them. Won't really need them until sometime in February. It is better to have something before you NEED it.

Great simple test strips!
There are a lot of options when it comes to aquarium test strips, but it's hard to beat the accuracy and consistency of API test strips! By far one of the best alternatives to liquid test kits.
