[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to store. The bottle does not leak. This is a good value product for your algae needs. With our filtration system, we do not need much to keep algae at bay. I am looking forward to seeing how this does in our other tanks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The container is cool! Seems to work ok, I cant say it works perfect but it helped! I will try it again next time I can and see if it helps again too and see if it improves yet again but it helped this time!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried API algaefix and was happy with my results. I really appreciate that the lid is also the measuring cup for the amount I am suppose to use. I don't have to worry about miss placing it. According to the directions, you use it every 3 days until you can skim out the algae. It definitely help my tank.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our fish tank was pretty bad before using Algaefix! After we cleaned the tank and put this product the water stays clear for a while. It's great that it doesn't take very much for it to work and keep your tank clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well for our fish tank. Easy lid measuring to avoid over use of the chemical. Great for fish tank maintenance. If used appropriately and according to the instructions you will see the difference. Frequency and application must be used according to instructions as well. Has been added as a regular product in our aquarium maintenance routine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trying out the Algaefix on this fish tank which has been problematic for us. The dosage is very small. I left the seal most attached so that I can let out a small amount at a time. I suggest using a scale to weigh it to be certain that you have the right amount, as I’ve read that putting in too much is not good for the fish!! The product has helped keep the algae away, so that’s great. It doesn’t seem to leave any residue that I can see, and the fish are quite happy in their tank. I would definitely use this again if any more algae pops up, being mindful of using the right dosage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am content with API Algaefix, the instructions where clear and straightforward. I used 1ml per every 10 gallon, and i used it as frequent as every 3 days. No mixing required i just spread it throughout. As far as safety for your fish, it may cause harm if you use to much. Please also assure any lighting from your fish tank is also turned off. Very good product! But please read instructions before using.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenager gets a little behind on his fish tank maintenance. His bedroom gets full sunlight for a big part of the day and it makes keeping algae away a tough task. He tried Algaefix for 10 days, using two applications. It is a challenge to photograph the tank well, but we have noticed an improvement. Of course the tank still needs regular cleaning and maintenance, but Algaefix does a good job of improving the aquarium clear and it works quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] API Algaefix seems like a good idea, following instructions it may take multiple treatments to work. I did appreciate that it is space for my fish and live plants. I didn’t notice much difference after the first treatment and plan to keep trying every 3days as instructed to really clean and clear the algae.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not super impressed. This seemed to not affect my fish at all, but did affect my plants and not all survived. The water is clearer, it appears cleaner, but that's only because of so many of the plants are gone. You have to dose it a lot, so if you're not good at doing something every few days/remembering i wouldn't reccomend trying. It didn't work much for my black beard though. I had high hopes.
