I've been purchasing potassium monopersulfate non-chlorine shock in bulk (cases of 1 lb bags) for eight years for our bromine pool. The price has steadily gone up while the percentage has gone down - 47% to 33%. With Oxysplash I use 1.5 lbs for each treatment as opposed to the 3-4 1lb bags I was having to use.The yearly cost for maintaining the bromine level has gone down 30% by using this product. 50 lbs lasts me a year and we keep out pool open 365 days a year. We do use a super shock twice a year just as a maintenance tool. Because its bromine we don't have to use any other chemicals other than a pH + or- on rare occasions.

This was my first purchase from Dohey. Oxidizing shock was spilled out of tub and product was clumpy like had moisture before.

Products gave me a dermatitis. Seem unregulated

Product came clumpy, as if it had been in contact with water. It also did not appear to "react" as most non-chlorine oxidizers do.

I have been using non-chlorine oxidizers in my hot tub for years with great success. I bought this 25 pound tub because it was a good price and now I completely regret it. The hot tub has a strange odor and the water turned green. This has never happened before with any other brand! Tried using a bit more and it was no better. Stick with other more trusted brands.
