Great product
We've used Ecofix bacteria in our 2500 gallon backyard pond for years with great results. I treat the pond every Spring and Fall, then started out treating every 2 weeks for gunk (and Algaefix for algae) when the pond was in full sun. Our pond fish never had a problem with the Ecofix bacteria applications. They weren't quite as happy about the Algaefix but they did tolerate it. As our Amur Maple tree canopies expanded to shade the pond I haven't had to treat the pond as often to keep the water crystal clear. Currently, aside from Spring and Fall maintenance applications I don't have a regular schedule, I treat it only if I notice gunk or debris. Last year (with much more shade) it needed only a few Ecofix and Algaefix treatments.
