It's perfect for my husbands stocking stuffer. His other one lasted 10 years!
This is a great tool because you don't have to go find many different screwdrivers. I have one already and I love it. I bought this one for a gift. I hope they like it too.
I used one for a year before purchasing more to give to all my adult children. Every time I need a blade screwdriver, I only find Phillips. Every time I need a Phillips, all I can find is a blade screwdriver. This has both, plus a reversible jewelers blade. And it does stick out and poke me like a regular screwdriver, it folds up so the blades are no danger, yet has the strength and stamina of a regular screwdriver. Excellent product for the wife too.
Best tool ever for: new homeowners, 1st time apartment renters, moving into a dorm! It's a Must Have, universal tool!!!!
Does not include batteries as stated
This thing is a serious piece of sh.... I had an older model that lasted for YEARS, at least 10-15, I think. I had bought it on a whim at the hardware store checkout line and it ended up being one of my most useful things. So, when the plastic started to wear out, I went looking to replace it, exactly. This one is the same brand, just a slightly newer model, appears almost identical aside from the flashlight switch, but quality is just NOT there this time. The metal on this version is cheap and soft and didn't survive even the first two jobs (light indoor chores). It's completely useless. Don't waste your money. WHY can't we have quality things anymore!?!? It's SO frustrating.
I have no idea why customers rate this a 5 star. If you are only doing light weight jobs, then this will work fine, but DO NOT attempt to apply any real force. The collar that holds each driver are plastic and shear off with medium force like trying to remove a stuck screw. You are far better off to purchase the Husky Retract-A-Bit. It is stronger, drivers pop-up and retract with the press if a finger so it is truly a one-hand tool and it can handle all the force you would apply with a forged driver. Stay away from this. You'll waste your money here. I'd give a zero, if that was an option.
