Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2018) - 1TB - WiFi + Cellular - Silver

I had the previous 12.9. The overall size is smaller while keeping the screen size. The pencil charges magnetically so you don't have to plug it in, which was awkward.

As I use the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) to give this review, it was the best decision I’ve made to swap my mid 2012 MacBook Pro for the iPad Pro. While I’m still learning all the features and how to navigate this device, I simply cannot keep my hands off my iPad Pro. My favorite part is that I get majority of the MacBook Pro functions, while being able to also take written notes using the iPad Pro. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

The graphics are insane. The ability to link accessories such as keyboard, and mouse have allowed for this to be my only source of technology for distance learning. I am able to complete any assignment thus far. Being able to simultaneously type, read, and research took me to the next level.

The iPad Pro 12.9 3rd generation is a amazing device and well worth the money you spent on it and trust me you will not regret it. Are use this device more than I use my iPhone. I pretty much use it for everything. Bottom line I absolutely love this device no other words can’t describe it.

The 12.9 isn’t too big, and the UHD video and audio quality in playback are beautiful. The 256 GB holds plenty of UHD movies from Apple TV App. No need for me to go to 512 GB. One thing I found is that the cell reception is very good, but the minute I enclose my new iPad with any of the inexpensive plastic protective cases, I loose a bar ( drops from 2 or 3 to just 1). Threes three, all diminished cell reception. Tech friend explained theory why—says leather case should work fine.

I sold my MacBook Pro 15inch, and never looked back!! The clarity of the screen is by far much better. The weight is lite!! I was very apprehensive at first but, WOW! This will satisfy 99% of daily task users. If you are in school, or at work, etc...with Apples smart folio keyboard, you really don’t even realize that you are using a IPad!! There is even USB-C hubs that plug straight into the iPad to add more functionality!

It has the best camera I’ve ever seen on an apple product , the software matches the hardware to a point of almost reaching perfection . The thing flys ! It just moves with out no hesitation. I love it ! I love the big screen as well . This is one of those products that reminds me that Apple still Has it !

The iPad Pro 12.9 with 1TB of storage works just like our iPad Mini, so it was easy to get started. The integrated Start Up feature allowed me to sync everything from the Apple iCloud, so copying Apps and 30,000 pictures and 100 Videos and movies was completed automatically within 2 hours. With additional features like Facial Recognition, it is quick to turn on and very fast doing anything so far.

If you’re using the pencil with this iPad the case you get for the iPad Can not cover ware the pencil is magnetize to because it won’t charge it I had to find a case that would not cover the iPad on the side where the pencil attaches to when I first started it was working fine then I noticed a pencil stop working because it wasn’t charged and sudden stop working.

It is a tremendously beautiful device that (along with the keyboard) tricks you into thinking it is a laptop. But potential buyers should think hard about what they need from their next device. If one does not anticipate using the Apple Pencil, then that person could save a bunch by buying a MacBook Air on sale.
