Customers overwhelmingly love the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) - Lightning, giving them a 4.6-star average rating. Users consistently rave about the exceptional noise cancellation capabilities and the impressive sound quality, particularly the punchy bass and clear highs. Many appreciate the comfortable fit, even for extended wear.
While overwhelmingly positive, some users felt the upgrades from the first generation weren't substantial enough to justify the price difference. A few mentioned hearing some outside noise even with noise cancellation activated, though this was not a widespread complaint. Overall, the level of satisfaction is very high.
The Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) - Lightning are ideal for individuals who prioritize exceptional noise cancellation and high-fidelity audio. They're a great choice for commuters, frequent travelers, music lovers, and anyone seeking a comfortable and immersive listening experience. The comfortable fit makes them suitable for extended use.
Verified purchasers overwhelmingly echoed the positive sentiments, further validating the high ratings. Their reviews emphasized the same key strengths, suggesting the positive experiences are not isolated incidents but reflect a consistent product performance. The numerous mentions of using the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) - Lightning in diverse settings (concerts, sleep, commuting) highlight their versatility.
The Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) with Lightning connector offers a premium wireless listening experience tailored for seamless integration within the Apple ecosystem. Its key differentiator is the inclusion of the Lightning charging port, making it a convenient choice for users who prefer to charge via Lightning cable rather than the more common USB-C. This model retains the acclaimed features of its predecessor, including active noise cancellation for immersive sound in busy environments and Transparency mode for enhanced situational awareness. The improved fit and enhanced spatial audio capabilities provide a more refined and personalized listening experience compared to standard AirPods. The choice between this model and others hinges on personal charging preferences; if you’re heavily invested in Lightning accessories and prefer to avoid the transition to USB-C, this is the ideal AirPods Pro option.
This model differs from the USB-C version of the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) solely in its charging method. All other features, including audio quality, noise cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio, remain identical. Therefore, the decision comes down to personal preference regarding charging infrastructure and compatibility with existing Apple devices and accessories. If your existing Apple devices primarily utilize Lightning, this version offers a consistent and convenient charging solution.
Consider this model if you are already heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem and prefer the convenience of Lightning charging. If you have predominantly USB-C devices, the USB-C version of the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) might be a more practical choice. Ensure your iOS device and other accessories are compatible with Lightning before purchasing.
i love these airpods, amazing noise cancellation and bass for music. There’s a XS earbud tip and they fit better in my smaller ears. but they’re kinda identical to the 1st generation, so unless you want to have slightly better, slightly fancier airpods then these are your go to. if not then…
Great sound, great bass, and I’m in love with the noice cancellation mode. I use it when I go to sleep at night and I don’t have to worry about any ambient or outside noises to disturb my rest. All in all, if you’re thinking about buying these, just do it. You won’t regret it. 😁
super great and amazing headphones. I got them for valentines day for my husband and I decided to give them to him a bit earlier, and we LOVED them! the noise cancellation feature on these is amazing and honesty the best thing I've ever witness! 10/10 recommend, I'm definitely going to get me a pair since I have the regular AirPods and I liked them but these AirPods Pro are a must have and o definitely will be upgrading soon!
Every other set of headphones I've tried hurt within an hour. I can wear these all day. I have inner ear issues, and using these while playing music or even just background noise helps so much. They also motivate me to clean and do other tasks around the house more often because I can listen to music. I used to wait until no one was home. Now I can even use the noise canceling while vacuuming or driving loud equipment at work.
The deal was good and the quality is amazing. It's like an all in one earplugs, earphones and in ear monitor. Used it at the Guns & Roses concert at Rogers Arena and boy, i was able to eliminate unwanted noise and still was able to enjoy the concert! Highly recommend!
Had been looking for new headphones after Bose QuietComfort 35 II. Tried all the big brand names and then had poorer neutral sound compared to my Bose. This AirPods Pro 2 has such an amazing punch bass and clear highs. The Spatial audio feature makes the soundstage feels wider than real. Overall: 4.5/5 Bass: 4.5/5 Treble: 4.5/5 Mids: 5/5 Soundstage: 4/5 MIcrophone: 5/5
I’ve seen a lot of reviews for these recently, and I was a big fan of the OG pros, so I decided to pick the new ones up. The noise canceling is really as good as people say, and the adaptive transparency mode is pretty much indistinguishable from just taking the buds out (I don’t know how well it dampens loud noises yet, I plan to test them out by using them as earplugs when I sight in my hunting rifle and I’ll update this review if possible). The precision finding is great (it’s about on par with an AirTag). Finally, the sound quality, it is noticeably better than the OG pros mostly on the low end so the bass sounds heavier than before, however it improves across the entire sound stage. It’s kinda fun to pick a single instrument in a song and you can hear it perfectly along with the rest of the song. So in summary, if you loved the OG AirPod pros, or you’ve never had airpods before and want to upgrade I’d say go for it. You won’t be disappointed between adaptive transparency mode, ANC, and the new volume controls, the 2nd generation AirPods Pro are a welcome upgrade to the AirPods lineup
These are great, however, I don’t know that’d I’d spend the extra money for the 2nd generation if I was to do it over. There doesn’t seem to be enough new features to make it worth it, to me, between the original AirPods Pro and the 2nd generation ones. That being said, I had to get a new pair and these are great, the noise cancellation feature is great, overall I’m very pleased.
They are a pretty good upgrade from the 1st gen pros, even more worth it if your coming from regular AirPods. Better sound quality better noise cancellation and adaptive transparency mode is like automatic ear plugs when you get near loud noises. The 1st gen pros are still great earbuds but if you want the best apple has to offer then get gen 2 pros
I would say for the most part the outside noises don't come through a lot but at times you will hear some noises from the outside but for me personally it's not bad at all. I love the way they seal into my ear to keep out noise. They sound really good. You can go into your settings and adjust bass and treble. The one thing I really don't like about them is that they don't want to stay in my ears. I have lost one of two different sets of the lower grade of AirPods so when I bought these I bought some AirPods Pro ear hooks for them. I couldn't afford to lose anymore because I wouldn't have been able to afford to buy anymore. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars only for the fact that they wouldn't stay in my ears. With using the AirPods Pro ear hook I do wish that then the stem was just a little longer but I still manage just fine so far.
While they connect, some features like spatial audio may be limited on Android. Basic audio playback will work.
Press and hold the force sensor on either AirPod to cycle through Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and off.
Ensure your AirPods are charged and close to your device. Try forgetting the AirPods from your device's Bluetooth settings and then re-pairing them.
Yes, these AirPods include a MagSafe charging case for convenient wireless charging.
