Apple iPad mini 2015 7.9" Retina Tablet, 64GB, Wi-Fi, Silver (Refurbished)

Got this for my son last Christmas, I've had no problems works great. Definitely worth it.

Sealed securely with bubble wrap. A sticker was put on the back to cover the entire back. Maybe to hide scratches but the sticker is nice and complements the tablet. I ordered restored iPad mini 4th gen. Set up easy and was worried initially because my daughter’s iPad Air was completely broken doesn’t turn on. Last iCloud update was April this year but thankfully most of what she needed is updating and good so far. I’ll update here if it gives me any issues too soon. But good to use to hold her for a year or two hopefully until I can afford to buy the newest mini. Great buy!! No scratches on screen or corners home button locked her finger print perfectly.

The packaging looked like it was brand new. Nothing looked open. Everything has worked great except I was playing music and looking in other apps and websites and the music would freeze for a long time and then start playing. I closed apps I wasn't in...still same problem. I restarted the iPad...it still happened. I tried it again last night and it worked perfect. Not sure if this is something that worked itself out or if this is something that will continue to come and go but it's not THAT big of deal considering I paid $100 less than a non refurbished iPad mini 4.

Pretty good quality, I use it for viewing security cameras and watch you tube, that's enough for me.

The fact that the System Software was obsolete made it more difficult to get it set up. Also clearly showing the version before purchase would have been helpful, but it works fine now that I updated the software. It is only used for reading, so the age of the device was not a problem, but buyers should make sure they understand the limitations on older systems.

I purchased 2 of these. They were just what I expected and in excellent refurbished condition. The exterior was blemish free (sans a tiny scratch or two), and the screen was perfect. Functionally, they worked as they should with all the same performance as a brand new item.

I bought 2 of these tablets when was gold and one with silver. The gold one would not stay charged. They are cosmetically great and when I had it on the charger using it. It did great. I wanted to cry that I had to return the gold one.

The ipad mini 4 was in good shape. It came in a generic box with a charging cable (usb-c to lightning) and a charge plug (generic) . The only sign of wear was the charging port on the iPad that had signs of usage and the head phone port. The charging cable it came with no longer works, it did when it got to my house but after the 3rd use it stopped charging. Luckily we had extra cables to use. The iPad was a gift to my 8 year old daughter and she seems to be able to use it for about 2hours playing roblox with friends until it needs to charge again. I've turned down the brightness and set it on low power mode to make her gaming session last longer, the battery isn't all that great. For non gaming usage im sure itll last longer, but we havent had it enough time to test that. There is an update needed to be done so I'm hoping that'll fix it. In all, it's okay for the price, and it's in great shape; it is a jump off point to see if my daughter can handle taking care of it while we decide if she's ready for something new and bigger.

I understand this iPad is refurbished so expected some minor imperfections but when I opened it, it showed 20%, immediately dropped to 10% and then shut off all within a minute. We charged it fully and an hour late it shut off again. This continues to happen to the point we can’t even use the iPad for its intended purpose.
