Great phone - however, we had a little trouble with the setup process. We tried using the “old phone to new phone” method where you use the new phone to scan a QR code on the old phone, which didn't work but then started over by backing up the old phone to the cloud and then setting up the new phone from the cloud which worked well.
Don't be shy or afraid to buy the mini because you think the screen may be too small, my dad has a 7 plus and we have the same screen size. But my mini feels like a feather and everything is so much more smoother and pictures are so clear. You may think that name in the background of your picture would come in fuzzy when you zoom into it but it's legible and it surprises me every time. I don't like having things in my pockets and this phone is perfect for high speed low drag. The desirable idea of the max or even pro is there but I have no regrets of getting the mini.
Was totally satisfied with iphone 8 that I had for a few years. I only upgraded because it stopped holding a charge after it sustained some damage to the back/bottom of the phone. It still worked for over a year with the damage. The upgrades from the 12 are intuitive and transferring the data was a breeze. The phone is somehow smaller in size, but the screen is bigger...the button is gone and replaced with more screen...nice. The mini is the perfect size, and the speakers are phenomenal.
If you need your phone to be small, this is a fine phone. It's size is like the old iPhone3; so a bit smaller than a 6s. Once I put a case on it, I was able to grasp it securely in my big hand. If you watch your phone a lot, I suggest a larger phone, whereas I rely on my iPad for that purpose.
Good little phone that has fast processing. It is very fast on 5G and also not bad on 4G. Voice calls are clear, and it comfortably fits in my pocket. I'm very happy with the iPhone 12 mini!
Small profile. Kind of goes back-in time with square ish hard edge design. Display and camera are superior to predecessors. I would recommend If moving from larger versions be aware the viewing screen does seem smaller. Yes overall good design. Not cutting edge. But worth it.
I bought this phone for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She absolutely loves it! The camera takes superior photos and she has already enabled the face recognition feature. She is petite and her work pants have small pockets, this phone fits perfectly.
I came from and iPhone XR, but always preferred a smaller phone. I do not like the massive glass slabs that have become popular in recent years. The iPhone Mini provides all the same performance of the regular iPhone 12 but in a compact platform. I've seen others complain about battery life, due to the smaller batter size inherent with a smaller phone, but it has been sufficient for me to last a full day of moderate to heavy use. Compact, functional, 5G has been a nice perk, and solid battery life offered at a more affordable price in a more manageable footprint. I like it and I think you will too.
IPhone12 Mini functions great and the size of the Mini is the perfect size to carry in my pocket. Customization of some features is an additional benefit. The only negative comment is that it does not come with a charger which is required for the device to continue to operate. A charger should not be viewed as an optional component and subsequently, should be included with the iPhone.
Love the phone, do not like the trade in offer. The value when assessing on line = free mini, but the value changed when i brought the trade in to the store. I didn't lie on the assessment, it simply changed. Been a customer over 20 years, didn't need to be treated like that.
