A significant improvement in picture quality compared to a Roku Ultra. The images on the Roku appeared overly saturated and unnatural. Skin tones look more natural when streaming through the Apple TV box; there are better blacks and less banding. These were compared side by side in an LG G4 TV.

When my tv lost space I was forced to delete all apps and I was unable to watch my tv. I have Apple computers and iPhones and our brilliant computer guy who we knew in Vermont still talks to us on the phone or texts us how to fix something. When I thought I had to buy another tv, he told me “get the Apple TV”. And I thought it was a tv! 😁He explained it and how it works so I immediately ordered it and it was the best price at Walmart.

If you're looking for a streaming device that has plenty of storage and the speed and how fast it operates look no further I would go with this product. It is better than Roku and Google Chromecast and definitely better than Onn which is a Walmart brand

These are the best for any TV, given most situations. Clean interface not riddled by ads. Easy to set up, solid, reliable performance. Remote has incredible battery life. Picture quality is easily configured. Pro users might be a bit dissuaded by lack of pass-through for TrueHD, but the pros outweigh alternatives for me in this regard. Remote may have a slight learning curve for some users, but it's worth it, and those users tend to love it.

Its worth the investment. I have 5 TV's with Roku systems that all went down with the last ROKU software update. ROKU is helpless to fix it so I was forced into Apple TV to play from my home media server. I learned the Apple TV is a far superior product over the ROKU ultra. It decodes 5.1 aac audio vs the Roku's limited 2 channel decoding. And the media player apps are superior. My home movie collection now looks like Netflix or Hulu. Every movie off the network storage drive has movie poster thumbnails. It rocks.

I have a lot of Apple products and am very happy with them. The Apple TV 4K is another great product with super performance and ease of use. My biggest complaint and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the remote. This is without a doubt the crappiest remote design ever. Apple makes things easy to use, but they should take a LONG look at he remote and get rid of the Click-Pad and go with buttons, or sell a separate pad if they feel the need for it. This remote allows for so many accidental entries that it is seriously frustrating. I have even gone as far as to purchase a third party remote just to set this stupid remote to the side. Other than that, it s great, super fast performance, great App selection and the picture quality is astounding. 4 stars because of the remote.

Only one arrived. I talked to customer service and they said they would refund for the one that did not arrive. Two days later I got an email saying they would not refund because it was delivered. No, only one of the two Apple TVs I ordered were delivered. I won't be using Walmart anymore, sadly.

I liked the product the only thing wrong was realizing the product has a power/cpu issue where the device need unplugged from the wall because the screen will freeze to random colors. Just got a bad/malfunctioned/damaged Product, other then that it has been great.

This remote bounces all over the place. It's like the buttons stick or something. Just press left or right once and sometimes it just starts scrolling super fast then stops. I've tried turning off the touch sensor and restoring the system. I've researched the issue and tried all the suggestions. It's just a dodgy product. I have multiple AppleTV's purchased from other shops in different rooms but this Walmart one is the only one ever to give me trouble. Buy somewhere else. This is probably some “refurbished” product sold as new or something.

It can't be hooked up through the receiver, like my Roku, and Apple was no help. I tried 3x to set up an Apple account and got a "we can't create your account now" 3x. I called and was told that sometimes it happens as a security measure. Thirty minutes of account setup on my computer, and then the device did not recognize the password. 3x. It's going back.
