Apple USB-C Charge Cable (2 m)

I entrust apple products, although it was the wrong item I ordered. I was able to exchange in store for the correct item and they price matched the online price to for the correct item.

I love that the Apple cords are longer, when you have a device you give a very short cord. I love these longer cords. I've bought many Apple charger cables from Walmart.

I needed an extension for my mac charger and bought this. It is pretty useful and length is enough if the electric socket is not too close to the desk where I usually keep my laptop.

I was impressed by the added strength around the insert part of the cord. It was getting frustrated by very low life of the ones I have purchased before.

This Apple one worked while another brand that I purchased did not. For your apple products, pay a little more but avoid the aggravation.

Item works and arrived in packaging that appeared to be new and unopened, but it smelled badly and had a slightly sticky feel. Had to wipe it down with rag dampened with cleaning spray before use. Like maybe it was stored in a damp, moldy area.

Charger had a white powdery substance on it, I saw a previous review mention the exact thing. Overall charges my MacBook but not sure if this is even a authentic apple product. Charger also has a nasty plastic smell to it.

Be sure it's the right cable. I thought I had the correct one, but when it arrived it didn't fit. My fault not Walmart.

The USB-C to USB-C Apple cord smells moldy %26 is very sticky. I searched the internet %26 found out that Apple changed the plastic covering on their USB-C Cords due to moldy disintegrating USB-C cords. Even though it appears new (outside Apple sticker looked replaced), it appears I received an older new in box cord that was manufactured with the old plastic that disintegrates %26 smells moldy. The box smelled like mildew and when I opened it and unrolled the cord it sounded like it was creaking and breaking like it was stuck together. It was also sticky. I returned it to the store
