This is a great watch. I bought the 40mm watch and the resolution it just perfect. The battery lasts for only about 24 hours without too much calling. Charging is fast though. I love Apple products and have never been disappointed. Online ordering was simple and fast. The phone shipped within a day.
And you were always told you couldn't carry around a calculator, boy were they wrong! Calculator, music, phone, and so much more! Get it or don't, we can't all be right.
This is my first Apple Watch so it's a little confusing for me but my son says it's great and he wants to switch back to an iPhone so he can get one. Other than the learning curve I am really liking it.
I got the SE 40mm at the same time that I got the Series 6 44mm after a buy one, get one promotion and some serious sales skills of one of the online agents. haha And although I love the 6 and the additional features it has over the SE, I find myself more often gravitating to the the SE. Not sure if it's an aesthetics thing or functionality draw. I just ordered some new bands and accessories for both so that may change things. I guess if I could change anything about it is I would have gotten the 44mm for consistency--sucked realizing I had to buy two separate sizes of bands. the 44mm, is obviously bigger but that means I can get the the S/M sized bands and the 40mm requires the M/L. (I know, what a horrible problem to have given world hunger and climate change)
I'm an apple person so of course I needed to add the Apple Watch to my collection of apple products. I LOVE this watch. I bought it mainly for the fitness tracking but I love every other perk of it. I would buy it again and again and I definitely recommend this watch.
I love my watch great choice
I like the watch, very self explanatory with instructions on how to assemble product and even came with an adjustable band that was a little bigger than average. I didn't not realize until later but was relieved because I was already on the hunt for a bigger band for the bigger than average size wrist band. The activation was very simple and even gives you guides and navigation tips to help you learn your watch and buttons.
I mostly love this watch. Getting notifications, texts, and calls on the watch keeps me from having to carry my phone from room to room which can be awkward. I bought it mostly for the fall feature which works well. In the long run it is so much less expensive than other options for this feature. And it's waterproof up to a certain depth so I could wear it in the shower or bath if need be. I had the phone set up for Do Not Disturb from 11 PM to 7 AM, but I had to turn it off one day when I had to get up early because it's linked to the phone and the alarm on the phone would not go off either. Haven't figured out how to set that up again. I still haven't figured out how to get to the screen where I can choose to use different functions due to emergencies. When I hold the side button down I get Siri ins teach of that. If the green slider comes on at all, It"s on the same side of the phone as the button which makes it hard to access. If I go to SOS it automatically dials 911 so I could use that if I had to, but I think the other feature has more options. I will probably end up either going to US Cellular and/or calling Apple for help. Lastly, I wish I had asked more questions about which watch could operate without being paired with a phone.
Smart watches have know become critical pieces of tech. When I saw that I could get a smart watch for my grand daughter. I felt like I had peace of mind. I can monitor where she is and I can call her. The technology allows us to also see how active she is, which is helpful for virtual learning and having to report her activeness.
I'm sure that the Apple Watch is great for someone who loves the latest technology, but I was frustrated very quickly with it. I upgraded from a Fitbit and was excited for the new additions that the Apple Watch would bring. After only a week of having it I was frustrated and looking for a way to return. For something that is VERY pricey, I was frustrated with it very early on. I felt like the Fitbit platform was much easier and friendly for someone who is looking for direct info (like steps and sleep). The apple version was harder to understand, included multiple apps and wasn't very user friendly. The watch continually tried to connect itself to my GPS and music while I was in the car and had my phone plugged in, which drained my battery really fast. In order to get it to stop syncing to the GPS and music while in the car, I had to turn off the Bluetooth, but then had to activate it again upon exiting the car... most times I forgot. The battery life on the watch vs a Fitbit is a little ridiculous, because it is constantly trying to connect itself to things it drains SO fast, like within hours. I had to make sure I was carrying the charger with me at all times for when it died. Really I only wanted it for when I went and worked out and didn't want to bring my phone, but the negatives outweighed the pros for me. I am now looking to go back to a newer Fitbit.
