Tasty breakfast sausage option that is made with good ingredients. I do ish the patties were a tad bit thicker. This is a great option for someone who doesn't want pork or beef for breakfast. They are easy to cook up in the oven, air fryer, or on stove top.
Walmart listen for voice to text is better than my iPhone text to voice. I mean voice to text so anyway this product is excellent. I hope that Walmart keeps this product in stock. The quality and the quantity is excellent for the price I mean given cost-of-living has sore too high for a lot of people, but this is really healthy. It's really good for your kids. I love these! They have a pretty clean ingredient list compared to many similar products, very tasty, love using them for making my gluten free mcgriddles with the great value pancake mix, make pancake mix as directed, add a tsp of vanilla and cinnamon, I use about 1/8 cup per cake , drizzle a little maple syrup before flipping, cook til golden, I take some eggs and beat lightly, spread out in my ceramic pan, after it sets I cut in pieces and flip them, then take 2 pancakes, a few egg pieces , 1 of the sausage patties, and a thin slice of cheddar cheese, they are delicious! 🙂😁
I don't eat processed meat often, but sometimes I crave comfort food, like waffles with sausage, or a egg and sausage bagel. Applegate Chicken Sausages make me feel less guilt about having some delicious comfort food. Way less fat and cholesterol as compared to regular sausage, and tastes really delicious. Good source of protein too.
A friend introduced me to this and my husband absolutely LOVES these, I buy them every week and meal prep them for him to have each morning with an egg. For the money, he gets a weeks worth of breakfast and they are much better for him than the sausage biscuits on fast food. He has also turned his fishing buddies into them. When I host brunch, I always make a bag to give a lighter option. Note : I do drizzle a little olive oil in the pan while cooking, otherwise they taste a little dry to me.
This taste really good and I recommend these patties over the links. They do have a little bit of fat on them that you'll notice depending on how you cook them. I think that these are better on the stove top or in the oven or even in a small convection oven versus being cooked in the microwave. I like the seasoning there was not really a crunch to these and the preparation again that I would recommend is in the stove or on the stove top for best texture. You can still do them in the microwave and they taste fine. Just the texture isn't as satisfying
These chicken sausage are good for adding protein to your breakfast. And they taste good too. Not too sweet, great with Pancakes or waffles, and for making breakfast sandwiches. They don't get as brown %26 crispy as I would like inthe microwave. But they are not soggy and still enjoyable.
Since disovering these a few years ago, I've kept them in the freezer. I didn't think I'd like them so much. I was just trying to eat healthier. Now, I like these much better than pork sausage. I love the slight sweet and savory combination. They make a great breakfast sandwich with my homemade bagels.
These chicken Pattie's have very little flavor. They have the texture of a solid patty, but just very little flavor. We ate them on biscuits. I can't recommend these if you eat them heated out of the pkg like we did. Now, then May taste better if you season them, then they might have some flavor.
It's OK and that's it. I use a cast iron pan to cook mine I added some olive oil for a little bit of fat, and the flavor was still bland. If you're really looking to cut down on high fat meats this is an option but you're better off making your own chicken sausage.
