Flavor is on point! Wish there was more in the bag, first time purchasing this brand. We used for homemade pizza and it came out great!
Not as spicy as cured pepperoni but it doesn't have the crap that cured meats have in them. Worked out great on pizza.
I have used this product for several years and I love it! Keeps my skin hydrated and looking smooth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I like the big slices better, but small slices are just as good and better for pizza
I use to spice up frozen pizzas
I got this trying to avoid the nitrates from one of my snack foods, but the flavor (and smell) was pretty bad. I tolerated it once, the second time they just disgusted me and I tossed them. Texture and such is fine, but needs new seasoning (and maybe not mixing pork and beef, can't say I've had that in a pepperoni before).
This product expired 9/12, but Walmart sold it to me on 9/20. This is the second time they've sold this item either within a week of exoneration or already expired.
Judging by all the negative review I'm not the only one who feels this way. The original pork version was a staple and I purchased at least two bags a week. The new version has much higher fat and calorie content. I had to switch over to the larger pork pepperoni but I'm just going to return it. I could have had nearly 20 slices of the old one for a fraction of the calories of JUST ONE SLICE of the new one. Seriously, why change a good thing?! I sincerely hope you bring back the original or you have lost a customer for good.
Please bring back the old uncured pork pepperoni slices. I would typically go to the store and buy as many packs as I reasonably could as my kids would eat them as part of their lunches 2-3 times per week. In addition to not tasting as good, the new beef and pork pepperoni are significantly higher in both fat and sodium so once we finish the packs we've already purchased, we will have to seek out a different brand.
Loved the old pork version. New version I couldn't even finish the bag just tasted terrible. Bring back the old recipe. The large pork version is also no longer sold at my local store.
