Applegate Naturals Uncured Beef Hot Dog, 10oz

Good quality hotdogs but not really worth the price. I bought these due to watching carbs and a healthier choice. The biggest problem I have is it only comes with 6 hotdogs, which should always be taken into consideration because you can almost never get less than 8 hotdog buns in a pack.

These are my favorite hot dogs. They're made with high quality ingredients. I don't eat hot dogs often so I'm picky when I have them. I made them in the toaster oven and it smelled like a cook out. Delicious!

The taste was good, tezture good, a little too much smoke but not that over the top... just would prefer a little lighter touch of it. In all, probably the healthiest hot dog you can buy along with any other organic version, but I like the taste of these better than the organic ones. A good value I suppose for the money

These are good, they taste like quality ingredients not the regular mushy stuff. Hoping that the difference in taste and texture means that they are true to their claims that it is natural and uncured beef. They don't get fatter when cooked they stay basically the same size. Cost per quantity may be more but they are worth it because they just taste better and I likely won't want to go back to regular processed hotdogs after these.

Read about these Applegate Hot Dogs so tho't I'd try them. Very pleasantly surprised ! No fillers, great snap biti g into them %26 makes a great coney dog . The flavor takes me back to when hot dogs were "real" %26 not filled with preservatives, fillers %26 very little actual meat. They don't plump up when heated, so what ? I'll take taste over a hot dog that plumps up any day. Heat these hot dogs up, put in a hot dog bun or folded in a slice of bread, add favorite toppings %26 you'll have a great tasting sandwich. BTW...I like coney sauce, cheese, onions, mustard %26 coleslaw on my hot dogs 🌭 yummy !

This is a great product super convenient. I wish they would back down on the salt For us , people that need to watch our sodium, Or have a low sodium option! I take these camping all the time. That they don't have all the fillers and nitrates that other hot dogs have

Nice sized hot dog fills the bun completely. A little salty and a little spicy compared to our other brand name favorite but a very tasty alternative and we will buy it again. In fact, we may try cutting them up and putting them in our bean casserole.

The taste is a little saltier than desired. All hotdogs are usually this so I don't think that's unavoidable. I would've given this product 4.5 stars if it allowed but it only accepts whole numbers. I will most definitely recommend this brand and any brand that doesn't include sodium nitrates like this one. I've read where sodium nitrates can cause breast %26 colon cancers and Alzheimer's. The taste is there so it's a winner for me. Hopefully I added value to whomever reads this😊.

These are thin odd tasting hotdogs. I was looking for healthier taste but traditional hotdogs. I might just be me but I was not impressed with these at all. There was nothing redeeming about them from purchase price to the taste after trying two ways of cooking them. They don't plumb. I was just not impressed. Guess I am just an old fashioned traditional hotdog type.

Doing a little research, these are supposed to be one of the top brands in the country. First off the were hard. Not just firm or really firm; they were hard and difficult to chew. If you're missing your teeth, you may want to pass these up. Taste was okay, but nothing to rave about. The think that really got my attention was that my dog didn't want to eat them. If my dog doesn't like it, that's good enough for me; I'll pass on them. Besides they are expensive.
