Applegate Naturals Uncured Genoa Salami Sliced, 4oz

I don't really know what good salami runs you money wise. It's a little pricey? But it's not super oily like the bigger packages like the ones with the peppered edges. It feels more like a deli cut and I love it with some sliced pepper jack cheese and the everything bagel ritz crackers. One of my favorite snacks.

This salami is fresh tasting on its own, in a sandwich or cut up in a salad! The flavor is amazing! After opening I stored the remaining in a ziploc lock baggie in the fridge to prolonge its freshness!

Took this for a road trip snack with some ritz and cheese. First time I purchased this brand and I would buy it again. Good texture and very delicious.

very tastey, furm, but not too firm, the pictures of the items ALWAYS LOOK BIGGER than what the actual size is. It looked like regular slices but when i gpt them, they wete small baby slices that went too quickly.

This is not the best salami in the world, but it was definitely good enough for my charcuterie board! The taste was good and the slices were the perfect size to make roses out of them - (so easy to do, using a shot glass). I made two roses out of the one package of salami and everyone enjoyed. I paired it with various diced %26 sliced cheeses, some olives, crackers, and pepperoni (also in rose shape).

Really good flavor! Perfect for snacking with cheese and crackers. I do recommend finishing them within a day or two because by the third day they smelled rancid. Which probably means they have less preservatives, which is definitely a good thing.

Last few purchases the product has been slightly dry. It was sealed tight so perhaps temperature had affected it somewhere along distribution. It's an easy choice for meat and cheese boards - but no where near as fresh if you have it sliced at the deli counter. Smaller format of course. Applegate is typically higher quality as far as prepackaged meats go.

Not sure if it had to do with it being uncured, but it has a terrible bitter taste to it. I have had many uncured meats and never experienced that. Tossed it out

Tasted disgusting and smelled rancid. The price is astronomical for this item to taste so disgusting. I am glad I got my money back. I think I won't be getting this brand of anything anymore
