The pitcher style filtration for those who primarily use pitcher filtering will find these affordable.The brand named filters are going to be more expensive almost everytime.The best way i find to achieve value is buying these in bulk.These offer similar filtration capability and filter comparable amounts to name brand and fit nicely in the name brand pitchers.Buy when these are on discount in bulk.Its cheaper or on par with bottled water over the long run and no lugging of bottles and jugs into the house.
even though it's a generic filter it works just like the brand name.. it's a half inch longer but works fine

The Pitcher water filter is good , not super . We have strong city water --..chlorine does get through the filter ,yes but the chlorine is reduced considerably. Minerals do get through also. Not. bad for a pitcher water filter. these are small filters, we do get about 3 months service out of these being used 2-3 times a day. Often, more use as we use the filtered water for cooking. Helps steamed veggies considerably, Can this replace an inline filter system? No way! But it helps! and----- a good inline system is going to cost around 600 to 1,000 yearly! Wells are Better.?uh huh ! Until -your lawn gets fertilized!! Your wife's Cajonks and hair really get the treatment ! S0? These little filters DO help out somewhat !!! Enjoy!! A lot cheaper than replacing the Wife yearly!!
In the carafe it works great however in the big filter it gets stuck and you have to tap for water to come out after 2-3 fills. Still half the price of OG filters
