I like this tank, easy to clean and my fish seem lively and active. Water changes just to the bottom half once a week, and full changes twice a month keep it clean. You do need to top off the water because of evaporation. But it's pretty easy to keep clean.
I like this little tank. It fits fine on my counter top! The heater fits inside well. But wish it had a light.
Have had this tank for over 6 mos., no problems. Water flows well, easy to add water as some eventually evaporates, keeps tanks clear and clean. Fish are active and doing well. A family member just bought the same one since we are so happy with ours!
Having problems with the pump after purchasing approx. 5 months ago. The lids are not secure they just sit loosely on the top. I keep a bottle of water behind it and add water daily (evaporation happens with all tanks so it was to be expected)
it won't let me review less than 2 star. this is to small for a betta. they need 2.5 gallon per fish, and slow moving water. interesting idea but yo small to even keep a cycle.
I am pretty dissatisfied with this aquarium. I used it for about 1 & 1/2 months and I have found many problems with this design. First, it really is too small for bettas (my fish was not happy living in it). You can't feed your fish with the tank on because all the food flows into the second compartment or straight to the bottom where it just rots. The filter system did not work well at all. Every time i looked at the water sitting in the base there was a ton of leftover food waste & poop. It didn't clean the water at all. Also, the design makes it to where the second compartment doesn't get much water flow, and this causes it to be dirtier than the first one. It made my second fish get sick. Also, even though there is a "max" water level you have to fill it higher than that for the water to actually flow well. This is a cute idea and it looked nice for about a week, but it isn't a good tank at all.
Absolute waste of money. It doesnt flow like a "waterfall", it barely trickles on the highest setting like it advertises. Looked like it would be really nice but it definitely was a complete waste of my night trying to set this garbage up. Dont buy it.
I bought this less than 3 months ago and the pump is already dead. I was forced to place these tanks with their covers into a 10 gallon tank with a cascade 100 filter in order to provide fresh O2 and water flow to our 2 bettas. This product is a complete and total waste of money and the phone number for satisfaction on the paperwork doesn't even have an option for any of the aquarium products.
Pumps die fast. I've replaced 3 already. No more.
If i could gove this tank a zero star, i would. It was a pain setting it up. The water flow was annoying. If i turned the pump off to feed them, the water in the first tank would completely drain. Good thing i caught it before it killed my betta. Do NOT get this tank!! Complete waste of money!
