This little fish bowl is a good starter option for beginners or for small fish like bettas or guppies. It's lightweight, clear, and comes with a few starter pieces to help set it up. The glass is thick enough to feel sturdy but still easy to move and clean when needed. That said, it's small — definitely more suited for a single fish, a shrimp tank, or even as a decorative setup with plants or marbles. I wouldn't recommend it for multiple fish since space and oxygen would be limited. The included starter kit is helpful for someone just getting into fishkeeping, and overall, it's a cute, simple setup that looks nice on a counter or desk. For the price, it's a solid little tank that does what it's meant to do.
I got this to put a beta fish in that my granddaughter left at my house when she moved. It seems much happier and probably healthier in this simple bowl.
I work in the Pet's Dept at my Local Wal-Mart and This is what I always recommend to my customers. This nice 1 Gallon Bowl Includes: 1 Packet of Water Conditioner (All Fish Need This use 1/8 of the Packet when setting up your bowl) 1 Packet Of Gold Fish Flake (Feed only as much as the fishes eyeball per fish) Plant Rock (Make sure to rinse with water before setup) This kit is what you need to keep a goldfish but remember 1 Inch of Fish to 1 Gallon of Water is the general rule and make sure to drain and refill 1.3 of the water weekly and you'll have happy swimming friends for time to come.
I got my Aqua Culture Premium 1-Gallon Fish Bowl Starter Kit. The kit came with everything needed to get the aquarium setup. It comes with the fish bowl, very pretty teal colored rocks for the bottom of the fish bowl, a plastic decorative plant, a net, Tetra fish food and AquaSafe water conditioner. Setup was quick and easy. My granddaughter is super excited about it. She went and caught a baby bream to go in the tank. She had so fun watching the fish and naming it. She used the enclosed fish food to add to the tank for the fish to eat. The tank is made by Anchor Hocking and is heavy enough that it will not turn over easily. We added an aerator for good measure. This fish bowl is very nice for a first-time project for a young child or just to add a little nature to an area. It is so relaxing and fun to watch the fish swim back and forth. My granddaughter is enjoying watching his habits and movements. This fish bowl fits in most any area too. Any small freshwater fish will work well in the tank such as goldfish or betta fish. I recommend this for anyone that likes to watch nature and enjoy fish antics!!
Hello, I purchased this for my crayfish and it was a great starter kit for him I would purchased again from this company.
The size is prefect for my son and adds decoration to his room. The assembly was easy. The water needs no filter
it came on time all package nice and tight easy to open. I bought it for my granddaughter uner the sea birthday party so the tank was filled with goldfish crackers. Kids loved using the net to fish for thier snacks
The rocks thats included have turned the water pink, and my fish are now struggling to breathe! i washed these rocks 3 times thoroughly and changed the water, and still it turns it pink. i then removed the rocks and restarted the process of adding my fish, and now they're showing heavy signs of stress, and i can only hope that they survive! ughhh
The fish bowl arrived just fine but the gravel, fake plant, and fish net were missing. The plastic to seal it all in was torn up top. I needed to use the fishbowl for a new fish quarantine, no time for return/replacement. Giving 2 stars for the fish food and water purifier sample packets still in the fish bowl. Probably fine if you pick it up in store
this glass fish bowl was delivered in a Walmart bag! not a box and left at the gate at the end of my driveway which is a gravel road so when I received it it was cracked and have not got to use. my daughter was very upset because we had already bought the beta fish to put in it. needless to say it was unusable. the fact that they delivered it in a Walmart bag that had a sticker saying fragile on it was ridiculous. anyone in their right mind would put a glass fish bowl in a box when delivering it. I was very disappointed and my daughter was even more.
