Aqua Culture Plastic Aquarium Starter Kit with LED, 55-Gallon

Great value and it delivers what it says. Just make sure you check things out before leaving the store. I took the first one home and when I opened the box, the middle support at the top was snapped in two. Without this, the glass will sag outward at the top from the weight of the water and endangers the entire tank's stability. The glass is too thin nowadays to support the water weight without this support at the top. There was no physical damage to the box, so until you open up and check it, you won't be able to see any potential damage. Brought it back and exchanged it for a new one - which I checked for breakage before leaving.

Good quality combo kit that brings a beautifull well made low profile hood with official moist resistance bright LEDs. I rushed to get this 55g combo kit as it was selling out quick.I picked it up at Walmart with ease and no problems. Fast pick up and good customer service. I have two selected pictures of the product but wanted to add another one aiming directly at the LEDs but you can only upload two images. By the way, the combo kit brings two internal Whisperer filters but I'm using a stronger replacement for the one on the left. None of these filters are recommended for sand but they seem to be working fine for now. I'm planning to purchase a canister filter anyways.

Needed to replaced my leaking tank. Change over was simple. I'm very pleased with my new set-up. I like the new LED lights and the flat covers. Starter kit was complete and would recommend it for anyone needing a 55 gallon aquarium. I have four aquariums set-up and spend a lot of time just watching all the fish. (very relaxing)

Just order this a week ago and received it at the store earlier than they estimated. This aquarium is easy to set up. The perforated hood can easily be done by hand without any cutting tools. The two built in filters are easy to set up and runs very quiet. I also installed an Under Gravel Filter. This aquarium runs so quiet you can not hear the filters running. The hood lights and filters are very low profile, I mean virtually flat! The L.E.D.'s are very bright too. You have to install them into the hood, they snap and slide. The water heater works great too, it's submersible. Hard to believe, I was expecting it to be a hang on, really. This kit comes with a water heater, 200 watts, dechlorinator, and stress relief coating, also food flakes and small net, two internal filtration pumps and even an extra dechlorinator for next water change. It's very energy efficient and quiet. I posted a couple of pictures to show you how bright the lights are and what it looks like with a low profile hood. It's hard to see the internal filters because of the tiny bubbles accumulating on the glass. It's being cycled right now.

my 80 gallon tank cracked at the bottom so I had to purchase a replacement tank quickly....the 55 gallon tank was in Stock so I was able to pick it up at the store the next day, my fish seem happier with a smaller tank and it looks way better than the 80 gallon

I bought this 55 gallon kit as a gift for my husband. It came with every basic necessity you need to start your aquarium. It came with an additional one gallon fish tank which was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this product for sure!

This is such a deal with the leds and everything else it should b a no brainer. Im seasoned in aquarium keeping and there is nothing wrong with this set up. U may want to upgrade or buy a different filtration system but even if u do u still are left with extra filters if u ever may need them.

The lighting is good, and easy to setup. I have not used the heater yet and will not until the winter when it is colder. The filters that this tank comes with are very basic and I would recommend upgrading, myself I kept one and added a canister 700. Overall this is a good tank to get going, but you need to be looking to upgrade pieces in the near future.

Our smaller tank cracked, so we used the opportunity to upgrade to this monster. Our four medium sized goldfish absolutely love this tank ( at least I think that's what they're saying ). It was easy to set up and the instructions were easy to follow. The only thing I didn't care for were the lighting wires. I can't just take the lid off and place it to the side. Both lids are connected by the wire.

It's a nice aquarium but the center bar was broken when I opened the box and the replacement was going to cost a lot more so I repaired it. The of the aquarium was $49.98 and the repair cost was $40.00 so I still saved money and I really love it.
