Right out of the box, this water has a very high PH. I bought it because I have hard tap water that has a high ph and ive had trouble getting the ph down in my tank . This watwr has pretty much the same high ph as my tap water. So in that regard , it didnt heko me at all.

Couldn't figure out why all my 10 years olds fish died all of a sudden. Had a perfectly fine tank, was recommended to use this water and that was a huge mistake. Used this and all the fish died, tank turned brown! I tested the remaining unused water and the ammonia level was unbelievable!!! No wonder my fish died and the tank turned brown!! How sad you sell a product, that isn't adequate for the animal it's intended for!!!

First time I've ever bought and used this water. I did a complete water change, as I've done many many times before, but I used this water instead of my usual from petsmart. The next day my fish was dead. And the snail I had in the tank, had went to the top of the tank to get out of the water. I did another water change, using the water from petsmart, and the snail will now stay in the water. This water killed my fish. DO NOT BUY!

I bought 2 packs of this water for my 10 gallons aquarium. There is something wrong with this water... All algae died in one day. Of course, that seems like a good news but all my snails immediately left water when I put them in my aquarium. Later, they came down of course to find something to eat but they looked like have no energy anymore. Then, in one week I found both of my Nerite snails and one Mystery snail dead while my goldfish looks like no problem. Within that week, I changed about 10% of the aquarium water using RO water as I usually do and after that plants stopped losing leaves...

my tap water is better than this the hardness the ph and the alkalinity is through the roof right out of the box dont waste your money
