if you are even considering buying this product I highly recommend you do so. I realize that this is not a scientific test, but as a testament, I have have a tank-less water heater for a few years now and have had to replace a few heating elements during that time. when pulling them out they have always been coated with scale and build up (which will shorten their lifespan AND reduce their effectiveness) about a year ago I added this scale build inhibitor at the same time that I replaced a blown element and recently replaced the other element in my unit (mine has 2). I was delightfully surprised to find that the scale build up on the element that I installed with the scale inhibitor had only 5-10% of the build-up (in an area with hard water) of its blown partner (which was about a year and a half old at that point) I must attribute the difference to this amazing product and I'm guessing with the extra life I'll get out of my elements, this will have paid for itself after about 2 years.

It works exactly like it should but if you don't screw it in exactly straight, the threads are plastic and can result in leaking.

Seems Genuine, Does what it is supposed to do

IN TRYING TO REPLACE MY OLD FILTER, I SAW THAT THE THREADS ON THE NEW FILTER WERE BURRED, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO THREAD TO THE SYSTEM. THE FILTER IS FINE BUT THE THREADS WERE NOT.

Hello ! Received a replacement cartridge and it no longer includes the use sensor. Why has this been eliminated? That was one of the key features of this product. Not happy !!
