We always teach our kids how to swim but I love having this swim vest for when the younger kiddos who aren't quite the strongest swimmers yet. We primarily use it when the kids are outside and playing around the pool and getting in and out a lot. It just gives peace of mind. It fit my 3 year old daughter good, was easy to put on and adjust, and she liked it more than wearing floaties/arm bands.

My son has taken swimming lessons but still isn't a great swimmer, so this swim vest has definitely come in handy. I love the sleeves that provide UV protection that protects his sunburn prone skin. The vest keeps him afloat and stays in place. Overall, this swim vest is a great product and feels very high quality. I would definitely purchase again.

However, there are a couple of fit issues worth mentioning. First vest (with armbands): The arm sections are quite snug, which makes them a bit uncomfortable for extended wear and limits movement. Second vest (with long sleeves): The length feels a little short and doesn't fully cover the torso, which might affect comfort and fit. Both vests seem to run slightly smaller than expected for the size. Recommendation: If your child is on the taller or broader side, it might be better to consider sizing up. Otherwise, these vests are well-made and should work nicely for children with a slimmer build.
