I love these crab legs I always make them cuz nobody can afford the real ones anymore so we get these and we make them with Chinese food at home and put butter and Old Bay on it tastes pretty darn good
not bad taste for being imitation crab meat at all very anused that it does nit even smell like fishy smell at all being made from fish. will definitely buy again
So good! Tastes like ACTUAL CRAB!!! Perfect for picky eaters and those who struggle with protein goals.
it's okay. the taste is all right and depending on how you're going to consume them the texture is okay. they do steam well. but if you're going to cut them up and add them into something there most than likely going to unroll. now you can take these bring them up to room temperature unroll them lay them flat and either air fry them or bake them and they make a great crunchy chip or cracker. we buy these once or twice a month
Size and price were ok but meat was dry with odd synthetic almost rubber like texture. Even warmed and dipped in garlic butter was more like eating artificial (plant-based garbage) than real fish meat that's intended to taste like crabmeat. Packaging says fish based proteins? Idk I've had and even craved plenty of imitation crabmeat legs/flakes but these were odd…
Walmart used to sell 2 other better brands but I guess they didn't kickback enough profits and got dumped. Aquamar is cheaper junk but at the same price as the old ones so W is happy. Chalky, pasty but edible.
The imitation crab was very dry. This was a substitute and I would have rather had what I initially ordered.
Used this make Crab Rangoon. Gummy texture was more difficult to shred than other brands. Not enough “crab” flavor to stand up against other mild ingredients. Large package was not the good value I hoped for.
These state they are like legs. When we opened then they just fell apart. So, they didn't hold up like legs would.
I wasn't sure of what to think of this product. I bought it and I was undecided so I ordered a 2n package after a little while. I was unsure if the experience was a lower quality batch. The first package was good for texture. It has good presentation looks nice. It would be good as a visual in use. The flavor however is not there at all. it is absolutely flavorless. Any and all immitation crab I have ever gotten had a nice flavor. I always snack a little while I am cooking or meal prepping. I like to know what flavors my ingredients have. And this has none at all. You really wouldn't know you were eating anything at all if this was all you eat. Maybe it is just the leg style. I will order some of the flake style to see if it is any better. I usually order from different brands. But this one ws a great value. And with the food prices now I am always looking for a better value. But I really can't recommend this product as I will not be buying it again.
