I think that my Aquasana whole house system is a benefit. Filter changes are not that difficult and the filter cartridge costs are probably in line with water softener salt.

These prefilters need to be changed every 3 months. Makes the house filter work perfect. Cheap maintenance for a year. Have used house filter for 8 years.

without the filter water in the glass looks clean and clear, after the filter was in for 2 mo i replaced the cartridge. i couldn't believe how dirty it was, looked like water couldn't go through it.

Easy to maintain Aquasana system and replace filters

After using this system for a few years, I honestly see no difference in our well water other than the warm, fuzzy of being protected in this farming community. I do find the filters entirely too expensive, but our low water usage allows us to greatly extend the filter life.

your system makes it easy to maintain, however the water still stains faucets. While the filters visually block contaminants the hardness is not reduced.

They sent me what I ordered. Maybe they could make it a little easier to determine what replacement filters go with what system and when/ how often they should be changed. Why is it left to the consumer to dig around through the PDF publications on the site for this info? After committing the kind of money we have to these filters I don't think it's too much to expect. Also, include the lubricant for the "O" ring with the filter!

Aquasana's website has an inadequate description of this product. The prefilter for my Rhino well system I purchased actually takes the 20” x 4 1/2” filters. What was delivered were 20” x 2 1/2” filters. This was not in the product description. I assumed the 20” x 4 1/2” filters were the only ones Aquasana sells and would fit my system.

Aquasana advertised 50% off filters. When I spoke to a CSR, she said that MY particular filter WEREN'T on sale, so I went ahead and orders pre and post filters, The VERY NEXT DAY, they were on sale. I'm not happy.
