The filter itself is easy to install and I have seen a a noticeable difference in my skin and hair since I started using it. I joined Water for Life and I appreciate the filters just coming automatically in the mail just about the exact time I need a new one. Do not purchase the showerhead though, it's not neccessary and honestly I wanted to love it but it is terrible. It only has a super spray function or a heavy drip. I miss my rainshower head and will probably go back to it.

I am enjoying my new filter a lot. We are on well water so I have a shower head filter, my hair feels like it's actually getting clean now, and the soap fully rinses off of us.

Great filtering, e.g. gets all the chlorine out. Excellent flow through this filter. I have low water pressure and other filters reduced flow too much. Aquasana hardly reduces flow at all.

The installation process is always a challenge. Sometimes it is very difficult to remove the old filter. It gets stuck. So I have to use 2 wrenches to unscrew it.

I like this as an easy add on to an existing shower and,especially to know that my important skin is not subject to toxins. It was a little hard to unscrew the old one so had to get a neighbor's help.

Using these shower filters has changed taking a shower in our house. We have terrible well water and current house filter system (not Aquasana's) is not enough. The water is much cleaner, no smell, and the shower stall and fixtures stay much cleaner. Also having them delivered every 6 months is very convenient.

We have been using the Aquasauna shower filters for many years. However, the new filter is leaking where the white plastic filter housing meets the chrome piece that screws onto the water pipe. It also sprays water at the same location. It seems like the two pieces are not well connected. All the other connections are fine -- just this one. Since the two pieces don't come apart not is there any way to make them tighter, it's rather annoying. Is there anything to solve this issue?

Yes. It is starting to make my water better. 1 month has results! I've noticed better water quality while using this shower filter. I pay for what I'm starting to solve which is better water, not uncomfortable quality.
