Living in an old house with bad city water, this system has changed the game for me. Finally able to go to a faucet and know I am getting healthy drinking water. Done with bottles.
We bought an Aquasana 2 stage water filter system in Fl and love it. After moving to VA, we realized we desparately need a water filter. We purchased a 3 stage water filter system and are so happy with our purchase. You can definitely taste the difference. I hired a plumber to do the installation. He didn't have any issues.
AO-36 Auquasana unit with tank removed and new tankless unit installed by handyman in 2 hours. Water as good as with the older more complex filter. Flow better than the old filter and a lot of under sink room gained. We are happy with our Aquasana filter system.
I love this product. It was easy to install. The water is perfect to drink and spotless. I use it for everything we cook and clean with. Only thing that I think should be changed is the escutcheon that covers the hole in the sink to should be a little larger. It just barely covers that hole as it is. I'm a plumber by trade and it was a pain to keep centered while installing.
I have been using the Aquasana 3 Stage system for over 5 years. Unfortunately, after over 5 years of good use, the filter is leaking. I found out that the filter iis expected to have a 5 year life span. Installation is easy and the instructions are adequate and easy to follow. I think there are room for improvement for the installation instructions. The replacement filters are easy to do. The water quality is good with no odors, good taste and clear. The flow is a bit slow but acceptable. I would recommend this filter system.
This filter checks all the boxes. It is well made, installation by a professional was fast and easy. Water tastes great. I chose the filter because of it's broad coverage of contaminants. I combined it with an epic nano pitcher that takes care of micro-plastics in addition to what the under sink filter provides.
I was just tired and frustrated in looking for alternatives for bottled waters. I wanted a product that ensure safe drinking water without the headache of going to the store every other week. I need something simple and efficient. This was the solution all-in-1. I would highly recommend it for anyone. If fact I have already done so a lot. It is just worth it. Get it you will thank me later. I have experienced any leak or whatsoever. The sink I have is too deep so fixing the faucet was just a little bit more work for me.
Installation was easy, and I'm happy with the quality of the water that comes out of it. We didn't use the provided spout and simply connected it to our main kitchen sink, and I'm also happy with the water pressure in this set up.
We have used Aquasana countertop filters for some time, so I am comfortable with the degree of filtration. Also, we are now spoiled by the taste, and don't want to go back to the (overall quite good) tap water. But the outflow was slow, and the attachment mechanism ugly and inconvenient (though we were used to it). The Claryum max flow system looks much nicer, as it connects to a dedicated faucet for drinking water. It also comes out quite fast, which adds to the convenience. We did not have much room under our sink, but I measured beforehand and it did (barely) fit. The installation instructions were ok, but Aquasana also has videos on youtube to help with installation that made it much more accessible. I'm not the most handy person, but I was able to install it without any issues. These filters are basically made of cheap plastic, so the quality isn't amazing (we've had two countertop units break). But it works well and isn't overly expensive, so we are comfortable with Aquasana products.
The filter itself is solid, water tastes fine and I have no reason to believe it's not good. But the fittings arent water tight; I'm constantly drying out under my sink and am on the lookout for new 3rd party fittings I can use to get a proper seal. I'm concerned it will cause serious flood damage before I find a solution.
