This is a very easy solution to the problem of undrinkable tap water. The installation is simple. I didn't have to drill through my counter top and have a separate tap. Now at my kitchen sink all cold water is filtered. I did my research and chose Aquasana based on the data. The auto order for replacements seems straightforward. Very happy.
Great product! In my research, I read some reviews about the water pressure significantly decreasing and was nervous this would happen, but based on so many positive reviews, I gave this a shot. Installation was easy and the convenience factor for us no longer needing a Brita is through the roof! Plus, we hardly notice any reduction in water pressure whatsoever! It's been a game changer for us in the best way. Already recommending to many friends.
My new Aquasana filter is great. Had to install horizontally but still easy install. Water tastes great! Compared to my pitcher...had a little better taste and much more convenient right out of the tap!
I am enjoying the filtered water very much. I has been filling galon jugs from my son's house weekly. The filter is so good that it's cleaner than my son's filtered water. It was very easy to install. I'm 70 and only had issues getting into a workable position under my sink. I'm looking forward to see how long the filter lasts.
We purchased both the shower & under-sink filters and I have seen SUCH a great water quality difference already. Before, the mineral/hard water we have here in AZ often left my skin itchy following a shower, but I've seen far less irritation from showering and the taste of the water coming out of our kitchen sink is AMAZING! I had been constantly refilling the largest water jug with a popular filter brand, but because we drink so much water- not to mention wanting good water to cook with - I was refilling that countertop-size jug daily & buying new filters quite frequently. Now, I have great tasting water right out of my faucet. AZ water, at least in the Phx metro area, is awful... far from palatable. Now, with an hours effort to install it under the kitchen sink, we have great tasting water.
It was very easy to install and it's working fine. Thinking of getting a whole house well filtration system next.
My water does seem to have a huge difference in taste. You can visually see the difference even. Changing the filter out will be easy enough as it just half turn screws in and out. The capacity is efficient as it is able to filter out 782 gallons for those 6 months. Pressure dropped but only slightly for the filtered side. Installing was a breeze however the dual port adaptor being plastic for my custom sink has a shallow thread so it stripped out pretty easily and I had to buy an adapter for a proper connection.
I am glad I installed the filter under kitchen sink. Installation was simple for the plumber , around 20 minutes work time. Only cold water will be filtered. In the bathroom I use a container with filtered water from the kitchen faucet. There is no way to tell how well water is filtered without making a water test.
The filtration seems to be working well, and the water tastes good. The problem was installing the push connections just right! I had to re-install on the the lines several times before I could get the line to stop leaking badly. Finally go it! I am a bit nervous that some night it may start leaking and I won't catch it till morning!
I have yet to be able to install as to there are no instruction. It would really be nice to have instructions so that I get the adequate use of the product that I purchased from you. I'm not even sure if I have everything I need to install it.
