I don't know why some reviewers said that this product was difficult to assemble and that there were no instructions…both are absolutely wrong. The instructions were very clear and I had it assembled in minutes. The suction was better than I had hoped for and to say that it was simple and effective to use is an understatement. This was by far the best thing that I have bought for my aquariums. To make things even easier for me, I hung the hose from my overhead floor joists in the basement and ran it down to my utility sink. The other half of the hose, I just coiled up and hung it in a convenient spot on my basement wall. Now I just uncoil the part that hangs on the wall and bring upstairs to the aquariums. I can change out the water in minutes now without any hassle. Thanks so much for making such a superb product!
I had one of these many many years ago but it was manual and even that one was cool! This one has a super long hose and you literally just plug it onto your faucet and it automatically starts pumping water out. No buckets needed. It does fit on most sinks right out of the packaging but it did not fit on mine. If that is the case with you, you don't need to return it. You can get adapters online or probably from a hardware store for just a few dollars! Trust me, it will be worth it. Cleaning aquariums is a messy, tedious job that nobody likes doing but this makes it so much easier! I did receive this as part of a CashBack campaign but all opinions are still honest and my own!
Makes water changes effortless.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has a 46 gallon salt water tank and this was more than enough to get the job done! Our dog decided to chew thru our last one so this was a much needed replacement. Hopefully we don't have to buy one again, but if we do, this is the one we will get!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the product because there is no easy way to clean a 40 gallon fish tank! This item is long enough for me to attach it to my kitchen sink. I used towels on the floor around the tank, but the process was easy and not very messy! No more buckets of gross, dirty fish water!
It's OK. I hate that it doesn't come with instructions, it's too difficult and it shouldn't be. It does get the job done as far as filling. I haven't used it for cleaning yet.
I did not like the fact that the hose that came with it was to small for the product and was a complete waste of my money (Ease of use)
This product DO NOT WORK, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
i thought this would work great i got a bad back and have a 55 gallon tank well i ordered it and got it i was happy i go to set it up and gashed my finger because you have to firmly put hose on then after 2 hours of trying to figure it out since it came with no instructions i had to you tube it and it still did not suck out bad water so i cut the tube to a 25 foot thinking that maybe hose was too long to pump and still nothing i am very upset and wish i could get money back
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like this product because it was hard to assemble and will not suction. I would like easier setup and a manual pump in the middle to get the suction going like there is on a basic gravel vacuum. It does fill water fine.
