Great Light Hood
I bought this as a replacement for the fluorescent hood that originally came with my tank. The original light had a transformer failure and not the easiest to replace. This new hood fits perfectly and the one included white light strip is more than enough light for the 36 gallon tank. A blue led strip is also included that gives a nice nighttime glow. The whole thing is plug and play.

This is so thin it won't even lay flat on my aquarium glass top. I wouldn't recommend this light to anyone . I have cheap bar lights that i paid 14.00 for and the color of them looks better plus they are remote
