Only been out once with it. stood the test, though. 20mph wind day, and it performed beautifully. I have a 14' v-bow boat. not a lot of $ wrapped up in it, so i didn't want to spend for a brand name trolling motor.
We mounted this trolling motor on our 18ft flats boat. we primarily fish in saltwater where the wind is 15 plus and this trolling motor held us in place and moved our heavy boat with no issues at all! Highly recommended!
Got this to replace a Water Snake, and love it so far.
I've been very pleased with the product quality and price
