ARC5 Advanced 5-Blade Men's Electric Shaver

So far, so good. Have had the ARC 5 for about two weeks and tried dry and wet shaving. Not as close compared to using a blade but pretty good. Perhaps it will get better with time. SATISFIED.

After my Braun 7 died a slow battery death, I decided to try the ARC5 and I am not disappointed. The shave is ultra-smooth, fast, and better than Braun at a much better price.

My ARC5 gives me a nice, smooth, very close shave. So much better than the other major brand I used to use that roughed up my face and was not nearly close enough. As always, Panasonic delivers the best. Love my new shaver.

The closeness of shave is about what you'd expect for most razors at this price range. For me, my face stays smooth most of the day but I can feel growth again by early evening. What I love about this razor though is the automatic cleaning station - it's take the chore out of cleaning the razor meaning it's a fresh shave every day. Love it!

I had bought the lower end of this of razor and found that it worked better for me than my rotary. So, I decided to get a higher end model. It has worked out better than I had hoped. Much quicker shave (I shave both face and head [full head of hair]) and smoother finish. Ill be purchasing a second one shortly.

I previously owned this model for several years and have always found it to be an excellent shaver. The cleaning station is incredibly convenient and makes maintenance really easy. The only downside is the cost of replacement cutters/foils, although thankfully these only need replacing about once a year. Overall, a great shaver that I would definitely recommend.

An upgrade on my 10 year old model

for the past few years i was using a 2 foil shaver intended for haircuts, until i switched to the ARC5. the difference was night and day! it cuts very effortlessly and leaves my face smoother than what i was getting before. i've been using this every other day and i love it each time!

Man, I don't know how I feel about this electric razor. The manual says to clean it each day after use. But cleaning it is quick. But cleaning a razor is easier. ya don't have to clean a razor. You have to use an electric razor each day for it to work well, but then I have to clean it each day. A razor works great all the time. The electric razor will work on a bit longer hair, but not on some parts of my neck. The electric razor is not faster. Only buy this if you have money to burn. Regular razors are superior and are honestly easier. This is handy to have, but I use it maybe once a week.... Probably just because of the sunk cost. Three stars because it is really really well built, but there are just fundamental flaws with electric razors. I've tried three different version over my life. In all, the drawbacks would take me back to razors.

It gives a smooth shave I'll give it that, but if you're someone with hair that grows in multiple different directions on your face - this machine will not be easy to maneuver. The 5 blades makes it feel like im running a brick across my face and i have to go over multiple times in multiple different directions to get a full even smoothness (resulting in horrendously irritated skin and razor acne) I don't blame the razor at all. It just isn't for my face or skin. Hopeful to try a different product.
