I had a 10+ years old shaver i will never touched again because it wasn't shave very clean. But this one blown my mind. It shaves very clean and smooth, very easy to clean compare to my old one. the battery last pretty long, its been a month i only charged twice. Best shaver i even use!
unbelievably close shave…as close or closer, definitely lighter weight and easier to pack, than my braun series 9. people complain about no trimmer, well it's just a shaver so get over it and get one for yourself. it's not a beard trimmer nor will it shave a beard off…it's a shaver that works well in many places.
I purchased this for my husband. He loves Panasonic products. He has been shaving every day since he switched to this shaver. It does not seem to strain his skin at all. Skin is soft and smooth like a baby's skin. He is happy with how well it fits in his hand and how easy it is to use. The design is also very beautiful. I am glad I purchased it.
Absolutely top notch performance in a package size that has no comparison. Has become my favorite travel companion. I have used it on 3 trips (3-5 days each) till date and am yet to charge the shaver. Stays with me not in the toiletry bag but in my tech devices bag and hence on me when I am flying. Just a tad bit expensive, but it is definitely a worthy buy.
Excellent shaver well built small but powerful clean shave would recommend to a friend easy to clean and use highly recommend someone looking for a quality travel shaver.
I have both the full-size and now the palm travel size shaver. They both perform equally to each other and without a doubt, the palm size is perfect for travel and a backup for the house.
Luxury is the correct name for this razor. Everything about it is elegant. This is the perfect travel razor. The blade cover is held in place with a magnet, and is integral to the design (not a cheap plastic afterthought). There's something so cool about slipping that cover off. The shave is just as great as my ARC6 razor that stays home now. It took a moment to get used to the smaller egg shape, and fixed head. Using a razor with a handle for so many years, there's a slight learning curve. I love the material. It feels so good in my hand (including the travel case), a perfect satin finish. Yes I thought a long time about the less expensive black version, but then figured, sustainable materials and white, let's just go for the more expensive one. I can now zipper close my dopp bag. This fits inside perfectly. I love USB-C recharging. Save the included cable, not every USB-C cable will work. But every USB adapter does work, including a computer in a pinch. There are a couple of minor issues. The USB-C charging slot is covered by a rubber cap that is fiddly to open and replace. The on off switch is kind of hidden in the base. Guess I'm used to a big old button, this takes a moment to find and use. On the other hand, it can't start up accidentally in your suitcase. The blades are super easy to replace, exactly like all the other ARC5 razors around. Replacement blades are expensive. But then you expect that from a Panasonic razor - it's why they shave so well.
I've not had great success with electric razors in the past, but saw this and was impressed enough by the design - so much so that I felt it would look great to be left out on the bathroom counter and I wanted to give it a shot. It is impressive, overall it gives a great shave, if using daily or every 2 days is pretty fast and straight forward. Some neck hair can be a bit challenging to get, which is tough - but that has already been true for me with electric razors which is why I've always avoided them, this is the best I have ever used. It is also extremely compact and the travel case it came with is an equally small footprint making it ideal for travel. Only design call out as I went with the White Nagori which looks stunning set out - is why the levers on each side of the guard cover are black and not white like the remainder of the exterior. Overall great razor, I would highly recommend.
I purchased the Palm for travel. Definitely and improvement over the larger razor and power cord. After a week-long trip, I came home noticing a number of long hairs on my neck that it just wouldn't cut. I normally would use the trimmer to knock those out. Missing one thing from being a five star product. Really need a trimmer.
The shaver takes a while to get used to. It does, however, give a very close shave. If you have to work on your sideburns, it doesn't perfect that straight shave.
