Arcade1Up Centipede Arcade without Riser, 4ft

I love this product. It is just like the original arcade. My husband and I play it all the time. Instructions to assemble was easy to understand on how to put it together. We also bought the Riser with it so we can stand and play it.

These are great! Not a single problem. put these together in 35 minutes, and each riser takes 8 minutes. For $299, its a steal...although i would have paid $399 or more. All functioning perfectly. couldnt be happier. purchased 4 uear warranty for like $1 a month. Insanely good deal!

Great game but pad is fading

This is our third 1up system. For the price, it meets our expectations. Gameplay on all four (centipede, millipede, missile command, and crystal castles) is good. No trackball issues, so we won't need to replace this controller like we did on the other two systems with more robust arcade controllers. 1up is now providing clear plexiglas cover sheets over the input panel to protect the artwork. This one did not come with one, so it was an older unit. Panel holes on the left side of the cabinet were off-center from the screw holes and not cleanly drilled out. We plan on converting it to a multi-game Jamma system, so it was well worth the discounted price.

I only had the game set up for two weeks snd the screen went out for no reason. The game was not mishandled in any way. I was not comfortable purchasing another one due to the price, and the time spent to put it together, and the inconvenience of having to return the assembled product. I was also disappointed because you had to purchase the riser seperately.

What is up with all the fake reviews on this site before the item was even released? These have not been available until October 16th, 2018. I pre-ordered all five current models. ALL have some sort of problem. Look for my review of each one here. This Centipede cabinet has a bulge on the side of the wood on the right side. The roller ball does not work as it should making it impossible to play. Rolling the controller ball hardly works and most times does not move anything at all nor can you move the selector to select one of the four games. The print on the screen at the bottom is covered up by the controller board. Pitting damage is also on the controller board graphic art. Are the games playable? NO. Big stop sign on each screen saying do not return to store and to call 1-800-764-2760 to speak to their experts. The problem is you only get music when calling and after time are prompted to leave a voice mail and it hangs up on you. Two days later and have still not gotten any return calls back from them.

It's CRAP. WAY smaller than the image on the box implies making the riser (add $40) a necessity. The front had a massive scratch that someone tried to color over with a marking pen (of a different color) and somehow this was passed through any quality control system that may have been in place. A message sent to the company has (thus far) gone unanswered. SAVE YOUR MONEY

I've played 4 games on this machine over the past year, and the track ball is already not working. There are a number of suggestion out on the web and from the manufacturer, but none of them worked.

Very disappointing. The trackball didn't work, scratch on the screen. The customer service at arcade1up sent me instructions on how to take it apart and fix the wiring. I shouldn't have to do this on a brand new item. Had to take the whole thing apart and return it. Would give zero stars if I could.

Do not buy this machine the track ball is trash until they upgrade the controls its not worth it impossible to play the game accuratly i also got street fighter its ok and galiga is good to but centipede needs a heaver more reliable track ball when or if that happens i will repurchase they need to spend a little more attention on the controls and even charge a little more if need be
