Arcade1Up Claw Machine, 12 plastic capsules

I bought this Grab machine because it's always a favorite for my grandchildren at fairs etc. I put prizes inside the eggs and they get to grab them when they visit, for birthdays and holidays. We do family games and the winner gets to grab a prize from the claw machine. I even put gift cards in the prize eggs to grab for my adult children and they are funny to watch, like they are still kids trying to grab the best gift cards. we are having a LOT of fun with it and it' looks great in my at-home arcade and holding up well so far.

I redid my playroom for my grandchildren for Christmas and they love this claw machine. It was easy to put together because I watched a YouTube video and the video was wonderful because it went step-by-step. It is a great claw machine similar to ones that you find in restaurants for kids and we love it. The dimensions are very accurate so it doesn't overpower my playroom and fits in the corner that I designated for it and it looks great.

With a small Arcade at home a claw machine was the only logical next progression. Most of the larger machines cost upwards of 2k are heavy and bulky. This machine does take A LOT of time and effort to setup right, the panels are overlays which will peel if you aren't careful. The directions are just subpar, however plenty of online videos (I should have watched one or two). As for the game play 3 setting modes, the SCAM mode does drop a bit more but isn't like the ones at Dave and Busters. You don't have to use the include round Pods with it, though it does help it pickup better. The Smaller pods make this machine very hard. There is no where to purchase replacement for those ball so be careful with them as they are cheaper plastic very hard to open. This will liven any room or be a hit at a kids party for sure!

once this arrived it came in a very heavy package. I would say about 100 lb and it's long and a little bit awkward but once you get everything put out spread out and it's fun as a family putting it together. once we put it together we started filling it up with candy and little toys that comes with the balls that you can put them inside. you can adjust how easy it is to capture the items or how hard it will be. the claw machine claw I've noticed will sometimes randomly not open. but I'm thinking the more I use it the better it will be. so far we're enjoying the music that it produces the lights and the catching of the items.

I just wish they would make a claw machine much bigger than this one like the ones at the arcade rooms other than that this is a must have…

Easy to put together if you have put similar items together. What a great addition to our vacation home. Grandkids love it as well as the adults. You can fill with almost anything. Love this item!!!

This claw machine is just what I was looking for - a full sized machine with an actual working claw. The claw is rather large so I'm somewhat limited what I can put in the machine. The machine area is fairly small (not that wide or deep) too so there are some issues there since I'd like to put a lot of items inside the machine but may end up having to just refill it. The claw does seem to hit the plastic every time it comes back to "base." Purchased this for a special event which is upcoming and have been using it at home prior and haven't had any major issues yet. Every kid that comes over goes right to the claw machine to play, and my kids have been waking up and going straight to playing it. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be solid enough and could fall over, but not concerned about that anymore - it's a little more than 5 feet tall. Because it has a large claw and small search area, there do seem to only be limited items that can be picked up based on position. We've been opening the side door and repositioning the items quite a bit. I've been testing out what different items can be placed in the machine, and what can be placed not in the plastic balls. I'm thinking I'll put small items like gift cards , gum, etc in the plastic balls, and bagged candy and other toy balls on their own. If you want to purchase additional capsules, search for 3.9 or 4.2 inches if you'd like to have the same size as what the machine comes with. Also, when putting it together I assumed that I could pull the plastic off the front after it was together, but you need to take it off before it's attached or it'll make it harder to do afterwards (it's fine to keep the size plastic film on until the end). The machine did arrive with a scratch on the paint (I've taken a picture of this) and some smudges on the plastic, which was disappointing. I will try and update once we've used this for longer and after the event to see how it holds up - if this holds up for this and future events I'll be very impressed.

Easy to assemble and looks nice, however upon closer look can see imperfections on the wood, and the crane often hits the acrylic pane.

This unit is great when it works. Upon set up the claw mechanism was not working. No phone number only email for support. This however was a fairly quick response. They had to send me a new claw mechanism. Currently having issues with the claw not dropping. I am working with them as I type this. Two stars if I did not have to keep working on it. Give it it worked without issue. Multiple setting makes it fun for the kids. It is a hit when friends come over.

We purchased this for a Christmas gift for my husband. The claw does not work when everybody tells you the claw does not work in the reviews. Please start believing them. This was a big waste of money and I returned it the day after Christmas truly upset because he's been wanting this forever.
