Arcade1Up Mini Classics Galaga Handheld Arcade Game

I loved this!! this was my favorite arcade game as a KID! I love that batteries are included so you just take out of the box and get to playing! Its so real just like your playing the real arcade game. super fun and the sound effects rock! great gift idea!

I used to love playing arcade games when I was young. My kids hadn't had a chance. Then we got the mini Galaga game. I was terrible right off I blamed it on loss of practice. But when my kids played, they did better than me! It is so much fun to watch them playing it. Volume control works great. When they are playing in their room by themselves, they have it soft. When we are doing a family tournament, it is full blast because we are all cheering. Our kids and us, parents have been enjoying it very much. Only complaint is that it is hard to put it down! Everyone wants another try. Size is perfect for taking it with us on road trips. Great family fun item.

Excellent, very hard, but excellent. I am not very good at this game, but better than most, and I have to say this is a bit harder than the arcade due to the size… But it is a perfect arcade recreation. The DigDug of this series is probably the best of the group in terms of playability...it is a nearly perfect arcade recreation with one feature that makes it easier... when the pooka and fygar go into ghost mode the ghost sound plays even when the digdug guy is moving (and playing his tune)... it is not like that in the arcade but this deviation makes digdug even better in my humble opinion. Note: Both Galaga and Digdug will KEEP the highscore in memory provided you leave them on and let them turn off via the approx 30 second timeout. This does not seem to affect battery life at all. The timeout to turn off is fairly short, but will be about 2 or 3 times as long if you hit pause, so keep that in mind. Some of these machines in other games in this series pay the NES/SNES version of the games, but Galaga and DigDug play nearly perfect customized ROMS from the arcade. Sometimes, the MyArcade versions are better fir certain games, but for these two (especially DigDug) these Basic Fun/Arcade Classics are the best.

Fun game of early video games. Remember playing this game when I was a lot younger. It was always fun. I was never a great player, but love playing the game. So when I saw this I had to get this arcade classi. Love that it a mini small. Being small I can leave out on end table. For it cute to look at. I play some games tonight and it was so better fun. The buttons one to start, other to fire. You are play with noise off or on. I played with noise on, it make the experience more fun. I am doing this on my cell phone. So hopefully it come out Ok for I can see the full writing

This mini arcade shaped unit and the game Galaga take me back to when I was young and spent many an hour hanging out in the arcades. The mini arcade unit comes with 3 AA batteries already installed so you can start playing it right out of the box. The graphics of the game are excellent. Great little arcade game! I'm having a hard time putting it down...lol!

Since receiving the Galaga Retro Mini Arcade Game unit I have had hours of fun. I recall to mind many hours of being a kid in the dark recesses of an arcade playing this game killing little space invaders. This pint sized version fits right on my office desk. My coworkers delight in stopping by and playing a few rounds. The mini arcade games are a brilliant throwback to the nostalgia of the 80's and video games of the past. I plan on buying the other ones in the series. Easy to play, easy to use and it runs on a couple batteries.

This is a pretty cool little toy. Controls are simple and work just like the old arcade games from way back when. It has a volume button that turns the sound on and off. Power button to do the same. Brings back memories from when I was a child. Handed it off to my nieces and nephews, pretty fun to watch them get frustrated, quit, then pick it back up again later.

This brings me way back lol! It's a small game but it plays Exactly as the arcade game I so dearly loved many moons ago. I deducted one star only because my hands seem to be too big. Otherwise, great little game for long car trips, hanging out by The fire pit and just some relaxation besides playing games On your phone.

This is so darn cute & I would have given a 5 star had it not been a tad bigger. I still liked it and reminded me of a time when video games were simple, but still fun. Looks just like the games I use to send my kids to with a few quarters in pocket at the bowling alley. It makes the video sounds and think my grandson will love this. He is five and has much smaller hands so might just be the perfect size for him.

Small compact arcade game. Fun for a child or adult, my daughter-in-law loved playing with the arcade. The arcade can be played on a table top or held in your hand.
