Arcade1UP - Ridge Racer - 5 Games in 1 Arcade with Rumble Steering Wheel and Lit Marquee

Fun racing game - steering wheel feedback on 3 of the 5 games is a nice feature. You really have to push the pedal control connection on the back of the machine together with a lot of force until it “clicks” to complete the connection. Thought at first my pedals didn't work until I double checked and realized it wasn't together completely. After that it was perfect.

I had been waiting for this cab to be released. I bought one and shipped it to my home in Norway. The games are great, the wheel is awesome, the pedals are a bit "plasticy" but they work as expected. All-round perfect home-arcade feeling. Walmart delivered quickly and shipped it for free half-way across the country. Will buy from Walmart again!!

It keeps the kiddos busy while the grown ups get family dinners/desserts ready. Great height for shorter people but you need a comfy stool for talker people. You have a choice if several games to choose from so every is very happy. Best investment I've made.

A must have in any home arcade

I did not purchase this product from Walmart, but I wanted to write a review in order to help others make their decision. While I prefer beat em up type arcade games or shooters, I wanted one driving game cabinet and chose Ridge Racer. The cabinet really looks good! The red and black colors really pop against each other. The cabinet has a unique shape compared to most and the light up marquee is not flush with the top of the cabinet, instead it on the very top higher than the average cabinet. The marquee also does not look washed out like many other Arcade1up marquees. The steering wheel does not feel cheap and has good response when playing games. The pedals are my only complaint about this cabinet because they feel cheap, well other than the rumble steering option. The rumble steering is annoying after a while, so I did remove the motor from the steering wheel and the games are more enjoyable now. Others have complained about the sound on this cabinet, but I don't find it to be a problem. The height is just right when viewing the monitor. Taller individuals might want a booster if they are over 6 feet tall. The controls are very responsive, and this is probably one of the best cabinets that Arcade1up has ever produced. The only thing this cabinet needs is a light up control deck! I highly recommended it!
