Great Game. brought back many memories. the control board messed up ajdnthe company was quick to replace the board behind the monitor...selct game but wouldn't get past the choose game screen. very happy with the product once again. definitely email the company if you have issues!!!

I haven't opened this particular one yet, but I already have one, and love it. This one has some dents in the packaging, but Arcade1up's customer service is second to none. I modded my first one, and bought this second one to mod for my brother. I also have the Rampage, and plan to get the Mortal Kombat in March. Can't recommend these enough. They were the hit of the holidays.

This is a steal at $250. It's a steal even when not on sale for $300. Is the build quality a little cheap? Yes. But for this price, it's actually quite impressive that it has this good of a build quality at this price. It still feels solid and the display is actually really much better than I thought it would be. I build custom arcade machines, and I can't even get the bare materials and electronics for less than $300. The instructions were probably easier to read than any instructions I've read in a long time. I had it fully built in less than an hour. They used to list this as a 3/4 size arcade, but I noticed they removed that and changed it to "4ft". See the attached picture. It's really cool, but definitely way smaller than 3/4 scale. I would say closer to 1/2. My personal opinion is that the riser throws the proportions off and makes it look silly. We have some mini stools that we sit on to play it, and its actually quite fun. To summarize, is it perfect? No, there are several things that could be better. But is it worth what it costs? Yes, definitely without a doubt.

This is a very practical unit for my limited space. I always wanted an arcade in my basement but with limited space and not able to easily move bulky 300lb cabinets made this a great alternative. I purchased a riser for the standing experience. The build quality of the cabinet itself is great but the paint is very cheap and rubs off easily. You can get plexiglass covers for it from customer service but expect about 8 weeks for delivery and several days between email replies. Other than that, this scratches that nostalgia and home arcade experience itch I've had. :)

I have two of these so far and I really enjoy them. A breeze to put together and a lot of fun. I'm not sure what the one star reviews are about and I'm not sure why it would take someone two hours to put one together. It's a cabinet with a screen. All and all it took me about 55-60 minutes to put together with the riser. I'm not sure what the issue is with other reviewers products...not sure why paint is coming off the cabinets. The only thing I don't like about the street fighter 2 is that who ever programmed it before distributing, jacked up the difficulty to like an 8. I can't get past the first guy. But then again it lets you practice moves and so forth. Another thing I would change is the riser that you put the arcade on. I wish it was about 6 inches higher. Reason being is that I'm 6'4...other then that it's a great buy and I intend to get a couple more. That is why it got a 4 Rumor has it the next line of titles later in the year will be: Street fighter vs xmen Teenage mutant ninja turtles Capcom vs Marvel NBA jam NFL blitz Xmen (either the fighting game or the four player cabinet) And a few others Final fight, ghost and goblins, strider and 1944 will be out in the spring. Along with karate champ mortal combat 1-3 and couple more cabinets. The company has to get licensing rights before production.

I know you can play these on modern consoles, but nothing beats actually playing it like we did when we were kids. Not perfect, but a good compromise from owning an actual arcade unit. My main gripe is the sound on Super Street Fighter and Super Street Fighter Turbo. Missing the left side sound effects, if it weren't for that I'd give this 5 stars.

Assembly took me 90 minutes but I mixed up step one bolts B with D. Took me about 20 minutes to figure that out. Assembly went smoothely after that. Very straight forward. Shocked at how sturdy the cabinet is and how much this looks like the real thing. All the electronics are in the control board and monitor. You just plug in the ribbon cable and the power cord and that is it. Seems well made. Worried about some reviews below saying it stopped working after a few weeks. Again, seems well made. Not super heavy. Probaly weighs 50 lbs when assembled. If you don't want to lift that kind of weight, assemble it in the room where it will go. My 2 boys are 10 and love it.

So I bought my cabinet a week or two ago now. Setup was a breeze although after first use one of the micro switches on the player 1 side got jammed first time playing and I had to open it up to fix it. Also the cabinet uses square gates on the control sticks, which make doing fireballs or hurricane kicks more difficult than I remember. Maybe the original arcade also used square gates but they must have been shaped slightly different to roll from down forward to forward easier because it's very difficult here. It might be able to be modified with a sanwa octogonal gate which I would definitely recommend. Finally, I don't claim to be the best sf2 player, but the difficulty has to be set to the max as the computer kicks the crap out of me on stage 1. I know arcade rooms could have their difficulty adjusted but there doesn't seem to be any option on the cabinet to adjust the difficulty. So the game is just set to quarter stealing levels of difficulty (if it was in the arcade) with controls that are hard to use.. it's kind of not fun..

This is an advisory. I want to begin with the idea is great and exciting, I would be very happy with it, and truly desire to give a high rating, had it not arrived damaged AND the display showing clear faults. Arcade 1up will do nothing to remedy display issues. Upon receipt of my system, I assembled and powered it on to find dead pixels in the display screen, that have not improved, as well as a darker pixel area around the dead pixels. Arcade 1up customer care will not replace. Shame on their support and standing behind their product.

Looks good but it turned on once and the player one controller didn't work power cycled it reset it with the buttons, Trouble shot it as still no luck board was damaged or just junk it doesn't even turn on now other then an auditable tone... returning it ASAP
