The cabinet is designed for straightforward assembly and can typically be completed within an hour by someone reasonably handy. Manual assembly is recommended; power drills should not be used, as the screws can easily penetrate and damage the cabinet panels. The display is relatively small but provides a crisp image. The system includes only a single game with no option to expand or purchase additional titles. Firmware updates are poorly implemented and carry a significant risk of rendering the PCB inoperable, which occurred in my case. The included light guns feel low quality understandable given they are produced by a third party manufacturer. They remain inaccurate even after recalibration. The cable design is suboptimal, lacking a proper passthrough or retention loop, suggesting it was an afterthought. Users will either need to tolerate this limitation or modify the cabinet to correct it. Gameplay is unstable out of the box and clearly not ready for production level use. According to other users, updates improve performance, but the update process itself is unreliable. At this price point, the overall experience is acceptable but not exceptional. The cabinet does not include a riser and sits noticeably low. Older risers from previous models are not compatible. Additionally, the original manufacturer ceased operations in December 2025, and the current seller is not the same entity. When functioning properly, the unit serves as an accessible entry point into the arcade hobby and has strong visual appeal and nostalgic for many of us who played this in arcades when younger. NOTE: Experience with Customer Support If your PCB becomes bricked, you must contact customer support and send the board in for reflashing. Expect this process to take several weeks! My unit failed within the first week of ownership (not a good sign). I shipped the PCB using the provided prepaid envelope. Support completed the reflash within SEVEN days of receiving it but returned it via slow USPS ground shipping. As of today, more than a month has passed and I still have not received the PCB back, leaving the device completely unusable. This appears to be a recurring issue among owners of this cabinet, and it raises legitimate concerns about the long term availability and reliability of future support.
