The product is better than most, especially for the price... I've owned a few TIG, MIG, AND ARC WELDERS THAT HAVE BEEN PRICED WELL OVER $200 BUT THIS ONE DID ALL OF THE ABOVE AND EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS FOR THE PRICE THAT THEY SOLD IT TO ME FOR. I ALSO GO AN AUTO DARKENING HELMET AND WELDING GLOVES WITH THE WHOLE UNIT WITH EVERYTHING TO START WELDING IMMEDIATELY, DELIVERED TO MY FRONT DOOR, ALL FOR LESS THAN $150.... I'VE PAID OVER $400 FOR SOMETHING OF LESS QUALITY MULTIPLE TIMES, SO I'M VERY SATISFIED THIS TIME.

Shipped on time and item was just as described. Everything is included to get started and the manual/book was well written. Easy to use, I started MIG welding almost immediately, however stick welding is a bit of challenge and would require a lot of practice.

The price is great. The product is easy to use and set up. Probably will eventually get the spool gun for it. The packaging protects the welder during shipping very well. Works great for beginers and seasoned welders.

my catalytic converters had cracked completely, bought this to fix it and with the help of YouTube and prep time, I was able to repair my exhaust and save the $3,000 I was quoted. absolutely recommend this machine.

I'm so pleased with this WELDER ! I returned a previous purchase from another store that wasn't quite as good as this one and was $250 more. It was delivered much faster than expected. I've used it several times and it works great!

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, the regulator wasn't included. I unboxed it and set it up. Everything just seems so cheaply made, generic look and feel. I've owned a Hobart mig for over 20 years without an issue , but it's too small for my current needs. So I'm comparing it to a Hobart which costs around $1k. When I get the regulator I'll let you know how it works. Thanks

If you are on a tight budget, it's hard to argue with the low price on this welder. it did well enough even on a smaller amp size breaker than the book called for.

Received the incorrect machine. Initiated a complaint with Arccaptain 2 weeks ago. I have sent them pictures of the packing slip, and package labels both of which do not match the description of the item ordered. They have asked me to wait patiently via email twice when I followed up with them. I have a project that is stalled waiting on a disposition.

had a code when i first turned it on saying not enough power source so i to it to work and we have multiple elders that run there but i wouldn't run so

This welder does weld, but that's all I can say that's positive! It's so generic and cheap, the wire doesn't feed smoothly, it has a constant jerk that is felt the whole time you're welding. One thing that shocked me was the nozzle on the torch melted!? I've welded for 40 years and have never seen anything like it. But I have never owned a cheap welder, maybe it's common for them. My last welder lasted over 20 years, a Hobart! I didn't want to spend the extra money for a quality machine, but I'm going too get one now. My advice is not to buy a cheap welder! Spend more to get a quality welder, Miller, Hobart,or Lincoln don't cheap out. This is junk ! 4.5 stars of garbage don't believe reviews on arccaptions!!!!!!!!!! Junk buy quality not this!
