I did receive this welder for free and this is 100% my honest opinion. Now that we got that out of the way… Who thought giving a girl with DIY ideas and access to YouTube welding videos a welding machine was a safe decision? 😂 I just set up the ARCCAPTAIN MIG Welder and honestly it was way easier than I expected. I thought it was going to be complicated but it was basically plug it in, load the wire, and suddenly I feel like a backyard metal fabricator. this welder came with everything except for the gas, obviously. it is compact light design making it easier to move from place to place. comes with the 110 line and a adapter plug for the 220line. very easy hook up and easy to use. it works great. I'm very happy with this product.

This is incredible technology the only problem I had with the unit was replacing the nipple you have to either slide or screw off the guard to get to the nipple there's a wire spring that allows the guard to be secure but upon trying to remove it it damaged the spring.. out of alignment. It shouldn't be this complicated to remove the guard but it is and once you mess up the spring it's hard to put the guard back on and also the guard the material that is made out of isn't that doable because once the the arc started burning into the tip of the guard this is the only flaw and should be re-engineered to make it a simpler process and reference to loading the wire and replacing the feeding tip the guard is a problem. In reference to removing it and in reference to his durability against arc... The other notable thing is it took a while to figure out that the ground goes on the plus side when MIG welding and the ground goes on the negative side when stick welding for the stick welder connect to the positive. But overall for the value and performance definitely a great value for small projects guaranteed to get the job done with little spark flashback

This welder is perfect for someone starting out. The setup is very easy . I've only used the mig torch, wanting to try out the stick torch. For someone who does a lot of various projects it's great for what I need it for.

it is a great light duty welder for home use or learning how to weld. So far it has been a great investment for me.
