Setting up the machine for each use is precise, %26 I had to refer to user videos %26 the diagram of the manual for cable placement to make it operate as the instructions are not detailed. The Plasma cutter worked well, I cant always hear what the machine is saying, download the app from Acr Captin, learn to push the rolling aluminum dials in to change settings, research each setting, MIG flux wiring is being tricky to dial in settings (knobs with simple settings would be easier), but I purchased a multifunction machine. I purchased a spool gun to weld aluminum, as my main incentive to buy this machine to replace my older Lincoln 175 HD welder %26 Amazon plasma cutter. The machine is built to be affordable %26 you can tell by cables/ settings but you get what you pay for. I had my last Lincoln 175hd Welder for years but the welder wouldn't accept a spool gun to weld aluminum, so I updated . I believe the machine will take more care to operate (not as durable cable ends/connections) as expensive units or as user friendly but saves you money and offers many features; time will tell. Now I can learn to TIG weld which i wasnt expecting and trying out all the functions including the metal cleaning feature. You get what you pay for and it works, I just need to take more time to dial in the machine and verify all the settings. I havent used the metal cleaning, spool gun purchased separately, TIG feature, and need more time to use the MIG/Flux welding more.
