Architectural Mailboxes Stanley Galvanized Steel, Extra Large, Post-Mount Mailbox in Black

These mailboxes are really built well. I went the large because I get a lot of small packages and boxes . And with my standard mailbox my mail carrier would tape, tie, and rubber band my packages to the top of my mailbox. But the new large one is the perfect size! Everything fits inside . I am very pleased!

this is the perfect size mailbox if you're looking for an upgrade. as someone who works for the post office I can tell you that your carrier very much appreciates when you have mailboxes this size, it allows them to more efficiently deliver your mail when they are able to put your letters magazines and packages into the mailbox instead of having to come to your front door. this mailbox is a fantastic size and it is great quality. I bought this one for my parents for Christmas but the last one I bought I have had up for 6 years and shows absolutely zero signs of wear and tear. I definitely recommend this mailbox for anyone who was looking for an upgrade.

I was looking for a large mailbox that would hold the mail if I was away for a while, and would hold packages. This mailbox was close to half the price of others I looked at, and I like the traditional "farm mailbox" style that I remember from when I was a kid. If anything, I would have preferred it to be bare galvanized steel, but in black, it matches the others in my neighborhood (though they are puny in comparison!).

very nice sturdy mailbox. I live in a rural area and this will hold my small to medium packages. seals tight doesn't leak any rain

Nice big mailbox perfect perfect for bigger packages and small or medium packages and small. I liked it. My first one I got it had dents in it from shipping so I had to return it and get another one, but it's nice. I like it a lot

I wanted an oversized mailbox, because I like my mail person and want to show her respect!! It's a beauty and heavy duty, but the dimensions did not match the advertisement!! No problem though, cause Walmart took it back!!

The only issue with this Stanley large mailbox is that the door does not close completely without an intentional bump when closing. The mailman sometimes does not give the door enough of a bump upon closing and the door may remain open all day

this mailbox is very large..get for packages,,,like all that i have owned in past ...the rivet holding door on will eventually break...but is working fine now,,,would buy again

Easy to install, all hardware included. The "latch" on top is weak and will wear out over time. Not a long-term mailbox. Latch needs redesigned. 2nd one of these I've purchased and it will develop the same issue of the lid failing to stay closed due to poor latch design (unable to see in the photos that it's missing a sufficient lip to latch on to).

Recommend opening and checking the box upon delivery, the outer box had no damaged so I assumed it was good to go %26 wrapped without opening however when the gift recipient opened their gift the actual mailbox was caved in on one side. Rather embarrassing
