Architectural Mailboxes Whitley 4x4 Slip Over Plastic, Mailbox Post in White

I liked the appearance and that it was lightweight and very easy to assemble. It is also bigger that it looks online which is a plus. I am worried that it might be too lightweight and may need to be remounted over and over again as it shifts in the ground but so far so good.

I debated for a long time choosing a mailbox and post.. I wanted it to look GOOD! I love the pure white plastics post with the arm support.. Once the hole was dug and the 4x4 wooden post was in we put in Quick Crete and slid the armed post sleeve over the wooden post with the mailbox already attached to the arm with the mounting plate that came will it.. The only issue was that we had to add a 12 inch composite sleeve (that I already had on hand from another project) to the bottom so the mailbox was regulation height..and it shows at the bottom until I eventuality put some landscaping rocks around the bottom..

Easy to assemble, and looks great! We used our own screws.

The post cover did not reach the ground quite. other than that its attractive and functional. Im putting drcorative rocks around base to cover bare area on post.
