I have been using these for years and love them. I have sleep seizures and grind my teeth. I keep these on hand because occasionally I will bite through them, but it takes several really bad nights to bite all the way through. They do take quite a beating and one lasts me anywhere from three to six months.
Exactly what I needed.
Works great. Just follow directions. Need to get used to it.
I don't think I fitted it exactly right, but even so, it is much more comfortable than others I have tried. My jaw no longer hurts when I wake up, because though I guess I still clench/grind my teeth at night, there is a cushion. It still feels a bit bulky, but I think I just need to refit it so that it fits tighter with the back of my front teeth. They recommend using it on upper, but I prefer to use on my bottom teeth, and it works just great. Quite comfortable. Much better than any other I have tried.
If you are poor to hold you over till see I u can be medical HMO Medicaid social security one to pay for actual sized one. I did it wrong messed it up it got stuck when melted & had to pull apart & try several tunes. Each one in heat it would shrink warp further. At last have something inexpensive till can see if get actual one done professions for me to fit own teeth right & not have it cone our wrong. Not sure for they may use same gel warm mold. No idea. Maybe is different. I hope to know soon. I may have to go to center that helps uninsured folks. I volunteered there b4 as translator.
I followed the instructions TO THE LETTER, and the stupid thing melted to itself. I let it cool and tried to pry it apart and put it back in shape so I could put it in my mouth and it wouldn't. I never got to use it. If anyone buys this thing, it may be good but whatever you do, DO NOT leave it in the hot water the 7-10 seconds the instructions says. 5 seconds is probably sufficient.
This the second one I have had. The first one fit much better. I believe the fit was compromised due to too thin of a layer to accept adequate imprint of my upper molars which causes the mouth guard to flop around in my mouth.
I got a purple version of this that only came with one mouth guard, instead of two. Wrong product was sent.
horrible, would not fit
