These cookies are still 1 of the very best brands and types I've ever enjoyed my entire life. It's too bad that they took them off of the store's shelves. They are A quality brand as Archway has always been one of the top brands. Unfortunately, Everytime we get any great products whether food or other items they always seem to get taken from the shelves or discontinued. But now at least you can order some of them online and I am so happy for that. Buy them they are delicious and still taste the very same as before!!!
i grew up with these cookies and all these years later - i still love them! i really wanted them for Xmas instead of gingerbread cookies. They have a tiny hint of gingerbread, but not as strong. They are cute to look at as well. i like the sliced almonds as well. Try them!
This is a wonderful tasting cookie recipe which originated in Antwerp Belgium where it is called Speculoos. Belgium is well know for is wonderful pastries and cookies. Archway had stayed true to the taste and texture in this American version often indicate by empty shelves. If you see them grab a box while you can... j
These are our uncles favorite cookies. We are able to buy several boxes at a time and pick them up through the drive up at Walmarts with no added fees. awin, win!
My Mom, 91 years old, loves these cookies. She told me only Aldi has these cookies, so when I showed her Walmart could send them right to the house she was thrilled. She has one or two with her morning coffee.
There's really nothing I don't like! It's a great product -- In fact all of the archway products seem to be a definite cut above other such products-- I just wish they were more easily available at more stores. -- R Belser
We love these windmill cookies and happy to be able to order from Walmart. PLEASE SHOW YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT YOU IN THE SHIPPING DEPARTMENT CARE. We would appreciate it if you would wrap them IN BUBBLE WAP or heavy paper so they don't always arrive shattered in pieces. WE ARE LUCKY TO GET 2 OR 3 CENTER COOKIES THAT LOOK LIKE WINDMILLS AND NOT LIKE PUZZLE PIECES. I recommend them for their taste, not for their beauty because they are always shattered.
It's bad enough I have to ship them, but why are these so expensive compared to other cookies from this brand??? At one point Walmart wanted 12 bucks a pop which is highway robbery. I love these cookies since I was a child, but dang they're making it kinda hard to keep loving them.
I ordered these windmill cookies with the memory of my childhood. First of all the price you pay for a memory isn't always worth it. Every single cookie was broken, not just in half, not just one of the two boxes I purchased. Bothe busted to tiny bits and pieces. Very bummed, wonderful memory saddened.
Every single cookie was broken and in small pieces. They were placed between heavy packages upon delivery. These cookies are hard to find in stores so only option was delivery. So disappointed. They're my husband's favorite.
